A stylish garden building with flat roof, the Medium Modern Log Cabin measures 3x2m. This contemporary log cabin is manufactured using 28mm wall logs and features double doors and a side porch supported by two posts which measures 2.0m.

The 28mm Medium Modern Log Cabin is characterised by a flat roof, and it is this design element which creates the contemporary feel.

With the same internal space as the Mini Modern, this log cabin benefits from a useful side porch. Supported by two posts, the porch may be positioned on either side to suit all garden layouts. Unlike a traditional wooden garden shed, the stylish Medium Modern is constructed using individual 28mm interlocking Spruce logs.

All Tuin log cabins are supplied untreated as standard and will need to be treated before or after installation. Supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years.

Please note, using a Drainage Outlet for EPDM roofs is highly recommended.

Please note, this cabin is supplied untreated, we recommend that the building is treated with high quality paints and treatments. They should be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommendation. We also offer our own treatments:

Roof Covering information:

As standard this log cabin is supplied with an EPDM rubber roof which is the best and most reliable roofing option we can offer, This is what we always recommend for log cabins with a pent style roof.

The EPDM is supplied with adhesive and is a superior alternative compared to normal roofing felt and shingles for cabins with this roof type, lasting for up to 20 years. For more information on how to install EPDM please see EPDM on Log Cabins.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option? Not a problem as you can elect to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

Approximate Delivery Time: 8 - 10 Weeks

Delivery Zone
Roof Material Supplied as standard with high grade EPDM rubber roofing, This single sheet of rubber spans the entire roof with no overlaps.
Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.
Delivery Week

Deliveries are carried out by external hauliers or carriers, Log Cabins are delivered with a fully articulated lorry with a moffett forklift.

I bought the log cabin expecting a minimum standard but was pleasantly surprised to find an exceptional flatpack parcel delivered by the date quoted, the driver was extremely helpful and polite and assisted me by placing the pack where requested. The unit was delivered by 10 o'clock and was up to roof level by 2 o'clock . The roof was slightly more difficult, but following the advice on the website two of us were successfully.
The only problem I had was that one of the leg supports was split along its length, not a problem, I hope, with the use of wood glue and clamps.
I am really pleased with the finished product and would recommend these units as being of good quality and simple to erect with minimum skills.

this is one company who do exactly what they say. I can't fault any of their process, it's excellent.
The log cabin- after some head scratching and pondering over drawings it slowly became clear on how to put it all together. The only 'bumwrinkle' for me was the inventory list was in eerrr....German. But Google to the rescue again to translate.
The log cabin is now up and looks good, no issues, door furniture could be better but end of the day, it's a posh shed! A1 * overall. Well done Tuin!

Confirmed safe delivery of the cabin and have thanked the hauliers for the friendly and polite driver.

I also thank Tuin; the cabin was erected over the course of Saturday up to and including the roof decking, the roof was felted and started painting on Sunday.

It went together with no problems and I was very impressed by the quality of the machining of the joints and consistent accuracy of the timbers. I and my friend who helped me build it are both very impressed with the finished result and will recommend to anyone interested in a summer house or shed for their garden to look you up and consider a log cabin instead.
