The 28mm Chappo log cabin with a side gazebo, canopy area which measures 2.98m. Overall the building is 5.98 x 3.00m. Immersed in a grey rot proof treatment as standard. A useful building which is offering you storage or a summerhouse with a canopy to the side which maybe ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing during the summer months.

Manufactured using individual 28mm interlocking spruce logs. The gazebo area can be installed on either side of the log cabin during installation. All timber used is slow grown for a tight wood grain and the Dutch recognise that this creates a stable and durable log cabin. For the highest quality finish, the timber is also specially selected for the interlocking construction and will not include any mixing of timber species.

Supplied rot treated in grey, the Chappo should be further treated on installation for protection against the weather and elements.

Supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years.

Please note, using a Drainage Outlet for EPDM roofs is highly recommended.

Please note, this cabin is supplied with a rot treatment in grey , we recommend that the building is treated with high quality paints and treatments. They should be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommendation. We also offer our own treatments:

  • Embalan Paint (8 2.5l tins)

Roof Covering information:

As standard this log cabin is supplied with an EPDM rubber roof which is the best and most reliable roofing option we can offer, This is what we always recommend for log cabins with a pent style roof.

The EPDM is supplied with adhesive and is a superior alternative compared to normal roofing felt and shingles for cabins with this roof type, lasting for up to 20 years. For more information on how to install EPDM please see EPDM on Log Cabins.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option? Not a problem as you can select to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

Approximate Delivery Time: 14 - 21 Working Days

Delivery Zone
Roof Material Supplied as standard with high grade EPDM rubber roofing, This single sheet of rubber spans the entire roof with no overlaps.
Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.
Delivery Week

Deliveries are carried out by external hauliers or carriers, Log Cabins are delivered with a fully articulated lorry with a moffett forklift.

We had a very good experience buying from Tuin. It was delivered on time, all parts were present along with clear instructions. We painted the wood using recommended Osmo paint before assembly due to lack of access to some parts of the cabin after the build. Assembly was very straightforward and as long as you have solid levelled base anyone with some minor diy skills can do it. We built our cabin in two days. Very good quality and it looks stunning.
