This attractive log cabin is 5.98 x 2.50m in size and also has a side gazebo, canopy area which measures 2.98m. The building is immersed in a green rot proof treatment meaning it will last the distance with very little maintenance. It is ideal for storage or as a summerhouse with a canopy to the side which may be used for outdoor dining and relaxing during the summer months..

Manufactured using individual 28mm interlocking spruce logs. Supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years. All timber used is slow grown for a tight wood grain and the Dutch recognise that this creates a stable and durable log cabin. For the highest quality finish, the timber is also specially selected for the interlocking construction and will not include any mixing of timber species.

Please note, using a Drainage Outlet for EPDM roofs is highly recommended.

Supplied rot treated in green, the Freddy should be further treated on installation for protection against the weather and elements. The Freddy can be installed as a mirror image to the plans provided.

Roof Covering information:

As standard this log cabin is supplied with an EPDM rubber roof which is the best and most reliable roofing option we can offer, This is what we always recommend for log cabins with a pent style roof.

The EPDM is supplied with adhesive and is a superior alternative compared to normal roofing felt and shingles for cabins with this roof type, lasting for up to 20 years. For more information on how to install EPDM please see EPDM on Log Cabins.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option? Not a problem as you can select to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

Roof Material Supplied as standard with high grade EPDM rubber roofing, This single sheet of rubber spans the entire roof with no overlaps.
Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.
Delivery Week

Deliveries are carried out by external hauliers or carriers, Log Cabins are delivered with a fully articulated lorry with a moffett forklift.

So Tuin came into my sights through a recommendation,
I really wanted a cabin about 5/6 Mtrs x 2.5mtrs to so it would perfectly fit in my garden to accommodate my Covid purchase hot tub and an area for chillin out with a cold one in the summer.
upon searching Tuin’s site I found the perfect cabin!!
The Freddy!
It’s half enclosed with doors and half open with roof and back wall.
I opted for 28mm thick and for me it’s totally fine as I plan to fully insulate and board the enclosed area and decorate inside.
Tuins phone lines are rarely answered but in one way that’s good for Tuin as you know they are busy which is a great sign.... but not great for customers who wish to chat about a product. Info on the website was helpful enough. Bit with spending all that cash online I kinda wanted to speak to someone, mainly for peace of mind.
Delivery was perfect, the driver obviously does this day in and day out and has mastered his craft to perfection. Pass on my thanks please!
The kit itself is stacked in such a way where the majority of timber you need to build are next in line to grab from the stack, well thought out! I like that sorta thing.
Building the cabin is really easy, it’s definitely not rocket science, instructions are clear and easy enough to read and understand.
The only drawback in my eyes is the spray glue contact adhesive for the epdm roof. I just felt if it was a bit thicker like a paint or roller on type of glue that would be better to get an all over coverage. But hey, it’s worked so can’t really moan.
Price was on the ball, a lot better than some others I looked at. And with the extremely high demand at the moment I feel everything went well from start to finish.
Good job guys. You have a very happy customer. Which I’ll definitely recommend to people I know.

Excellent from start finish, very friendly and helpful staff when ordering, delivery driver was a top fella, I needed him to place the delivery about 50 metres away from the lorry, which he was more than happy to do. Then to the cabin, all wood was straight and fitted together well. Cabin has been up now for 4 weeks and movement and settling has been minimal. Very pleased with product and would recommend. Truth be told this is my first ever review left and is the first product I have ever felt worth a review.

Wow, what can I say but pure quality! The quality of the wood is fantastic and the construction of the shed is very easy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a shed/log cabin that’s seriously affordable for the quality provided. I would also like to mention how good the delivery was spot on with the time and was a great service.
