The 40mm double glazed Maria Log Cabin, measuring at 4.5m x 2.5m this cabin has been designed with UK gardens in mind. With a stylish pent roof, this Log Cabin is also under 2.5m in height

Great for use as a garden office, summerhouse, craft room and much more. Pair with roof and floor insulation for a cabin you can use all year around and stay cosy in the colder months.

The Maria log cabin is designed to be a light and airy building. Featuring double doors and two opening windows which allows the light to stream in while leaving three walls solid so you can put desks, sofas or other items against them making a very practical building. The door can be placed on either the right or left of the twin window bank, as the Maria Log Cabin can be installed as a mirror image. The glazing bars creating the Georgian effect can be fitted or left off for a more contemporary look.

This log cabin is manufactured using quality 40mm Spruce logs. All timber used is specially selected for the interlocking construction and must comply with high Dutch standards. These standards ensure there is no mixture of timbers in the wall logs like pine and spruce. Supplied untreated, the Maria can be customised to match the unique style of each garden. Tuin offers a great range of treatment options including stains, paints and impregnation fluid.

Supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years.

Pent Roofing Options:

We offer three different types of roofing for the pent log cabins.

  • EPDM ( Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer ) Rubber roofing which is the best option, Supplied in a single sheet with no natural overlaps ( weak spots ), We supply two types of adhesive with the rubber roofing, A spray glue for the majority of the surface area and also a tube for a fill gun for around the edges. A good extra to consider with the EPDM are the metal modern roofing trims although you can achieve the same result with timber versions instead. EPDM has a lifespan of 20+ years
  • Easy Roofing ( High Performance Polyester Base ) which is the second best option to consider, These arrive in rolls that are 5x1m a piece in sufficant volume for this log cabin. The Easy roofing is supplied with a self-adhesive backing meaning no extra glue is required. This roofing option like the EPDM can be finished off nicely with metal or timber roofing trims. Easy roofing has a life span of 15+ years
  • Felt Roofing Kit, Standard rolls of roofing felt like what you will have seen on sheds in most UK gardens. supplied with clout nails and felt glue for the overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of 2 - 3 years and will need replacing over time.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option, Not a problem as you can select to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

I did research before settling on your company. The Maria cabin was delivered on time without problem or damage by a good haulier. You provide lots of information on all stages of a build which was v useful to read before commencing construction. The whole build by a single 72 year old man went without problem, only minor issue was connecting the composite foundation beam to the first layer of logs. I had intended to screw from the bottom up, but mitring the composite and the bendy nature of the composite precluded this , so I exactly drilled part way through the first logs to allow use of 70mm screws without going right through the composite. I did use rather more of the EPDM spray adhesive than the 2 cans provided as it recommended spraying both surfaces. I am impressed with quality of the materials, the exactness of the cutting and the overall product. If asked I will have no reservation in recommending Tuin as a quality supplier of outdoor building

Delivery was prompt, damage free and pressionally and pleasantly undertaken.
I bought the composite foundation beam which I mitred which then made it impossible to fix to the bottom beam from beneath the composite. The composite is also very flexible in warm weather. So I I fixed through the bottom log into the composite beams which requires careful depth drilling to ensure the fixing screws did not go right through the composite. This and squaring up the bottom two courses took half a day. After this the structure went up in one day by one 72 year old DIY’er. Was apprehensive about laying the EPDM roof on my own, but following Richard’s tips, I laid it out on the roof and taped one short side to an. Ft cane which I used to roll the membrane up fairly tightly. I used 2 mor cans of adhesive than provided as I sprayed both the membrane and the roof as the tins suggested.. Tuin was recommended to me by a local postman and I looked into you amongst others before ordering the Maria cabin. The quality of the product was as stated, the cutting was spot on and the whole went together without any real problem. In conclusion I would have no hesitation in recommending your products to anyone who seeks my opinion. Thank you for my dream, workshop which I will enjoy fitting out and using for , hopefully many years

Excellent delivery service and product undamaged and easy to unpack. lovely quaity spruce and building it a doddle compared to the manual labour of doing the concrete pad!

Also v good value for money at £3k.

All good and half way finished after just a couple of days

Whilst the cabin seems good quality and was delivered on time none of the timbers were labelled as per instructions. This didn’t cause much of an issue however 2 of the main roof joists have notches out of the timber about a third of the way along, presumably also meant for a different structure in the range. This is cosmetically awful and has spoilt the cabin which is not what you would expect for a ‘premium’ product. For that I would not recommend this company.
Tuin reply: Dear Nick

We're sorry to hear that and sounds like a manufacturing problem, we would encourage you send us pictures of what you have noticed so we can address it and possibly offer a new part to replace it

Very happy with every aspect of our purchase of a Tuin shed. Excellent customer service when we needed to speak to someone. Excellent delivery procedure and communication - the guy from Holland who delivered our shed was super friendly, helpful and efficient. Quality of the shed was top notch and installation was straightforward and easy to manage even for us as non diy-ers. No complaints at all, couldn’t be happier.
