Suitable for use as a craft room, workshop or even a garden office, the combination of the side and front double banks of windows ensures there is no lack of natural light! And, with a small front canopy, venture outside for a relaxing break to enjoy the views and tranquillity of your garden.

Built using first rate Spruce timber, this variety is chosen for its tight, dense wood grain. Tuin log cabins do not feature a mixture of timber species or finger jointing, the process whereby short lengths of timber are used to create the full log length, to indicate a high quality build.

Please note, this cabin is supplied untreated, we recommend that the building is treated with high quality paints and treatments. They should be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommendation. We also offer our own treatments:

FREE roof Shingles: As a standard building you can select either roofing felt or FREE shingles. We cannot guarantee which colour or shape will be sent. We will always let you know the colour and style following your order.  It is rarely possible to change those offered as it is dependent on our stocks.

Free shingles for this Idonea 28mm Log Cabin are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last year's stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not be 'as new'.

Standard Roof Shingles: These are from our standard catalogue range and are available in various colours and styles.

We highly recommend shingles with your log cabin: The final finish is far more superior and turns a shed into a stunning log cabin. Ordinary felt will last two - three years. Shingles will last for at least 15 years and it is unlikely you will ever need to replace them.

Log Cabin Storm Kit A storm kit can be chosen to help safeguard your log cabin from severe winds/weather, Each kit features four anchoring points for each corner of the building.

Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.
Delivery Week

Deliveries are carried out by external hauliers or carriers, Log Cabins are delivered with a fully articulated lorry with a moffett forklift.

The Idonea Log Cabin matched the space we had available and the chalet style we wanted - there are not many on the market. Although slightly more expensive we chose Tuin over other similar products on the basis of quality and reputation. The instructions it came with were pretty useless but look at the videos & guidance on their web site. In the main good quality wood and design detail but a couple of points needed improvement - only just enough wood for roof - loads of wood for floor - be prepared to adapt e.g. use smaller screws in some areas - Window boxes and shutters can get in the way of full opening of door.
