Sleek, attractive and functional, the Johan Log Cabin is an excellent choice for those seeking a modern garden summerhouse. Manufactured using 34mm interlocking wall logs, this construction adds a touch of Scandinavia to any outdoor space.

Both transverse and L-shaped, these elements combined create an inset porch over the double doors - a welcoming entrance to this cosy garden building. The Johan also includes two large opening windows for a bright and airy feel.

All timber used is slow grown Spruce for a tight wood grain. Tuin acknowledges that this creates a stable garden building built for longevity. For the highest quality finish, the timber is also specially selected for the interlocking construction and will not feature a mixture of timber varieties or finger jointing.

Supplied untreated, this log cabin will require treatment as soon as it has been installed. For a more traditional feel, choose a stain or for the modern touch, why not paint the Johan in bright colours to create a stand out feature for any outdoor space. Don't forget about insulating your Log Cabin.

FREE roof Shingles: As a standard building you can select either roofing felt or FREE shingles. We cannot guarantee which colour or shape will be sent. We will always let you know the colour and style following your order. It is rarely possible to change those offered as it is dependant on our stocks.

Free shingles for this Johan 34mm Log Cabin are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last years stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not be 'as new'.

Standard Roof Shingles: These are from our standard catalogue range and are available in various colours and styles.

We highly recommend shingles with your log cabin: The final finish is far more superior and turns a shed into a stunning log cabin. Ordinary felt will last two - three years. Shingles will last for at least 15 years and it is unlikely you will ever need to replace them.

Log Cabin Storm Kit A storm kit can be chosen to help safeguard your log cabin from severe winds/weather, Each kit features four anchoring points for each corner of the building.
Delivery Zone
Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.
Log Cabin Air Vents Ventilation in log cabins can be very important to help prevent the build up of moisture and damp through periods of none-use

1st I must say we love our cabin ! It came on the day it was booked for the driver was brilliant all the components were all there it took me 5 days on my own to build but I went on the website with anything I was struggling with and my problems were solved all in all if you take your time and have patience any project even a log cabin will be ok in the end ! We love it top piece of woodworking by a good organisation

Having never built anything like this in my life I was slightly uneasy about how it would go, but once arrived (which it did on time as per date quoted) it was remarkably straight forward to put up! I had the main outer shell put up on the same day it had arrived, mostly by myself with a little help from my kids. Putting the roof beams in was a little trickier and you definitely need help with this! But still simple enough. My only wee niggle is the instructions are a little vague/basic but any worries/problems just email them and every time I got a reply back almost instantaneously! An excellent service all round and would highly recommend and will definitely use again.

The actual kit was both very accurate and easy to construct. The only problem was that I ordered the thicker t & g floorboarding which was not of uniformed width and I had to make adjustments to getting it looking correct. I am an apprentice trained carpenter and I think a diy purchaser would have struggled with the flooring but not with the structure

The purchase of a log cabin was not high on my agenda but after seeing the quality of a friends I was sold. The ordering was simple, the transport company very helpful and the finished Johan far exceeds my expectations.
My son took on the project from digging foundations through to installing electrics. I have chosen to keep the outside natural wood colour, three coats of a clear protective product, and used the coloured protective stain supplied on the floor, which looks good. I have not enclosed pictures as the landscaping is not quite finished but can only say I am totally delighted with the finished product although the whole project has turned out more expensive than I originally thought. I know I will enjoy using it for many years.

Ordered my log cabin a week or so into lockdown, delivery was as stated with no delays. The shell and roof were erected quickly, it has now become a pub shed / home office. Would highly recommend just wish I had bought one years ago.
