These composite foundation beams are suitable for all log cabins. Featuring a 'profile', these beams allow water to drain away from the base of the building. These beams are made from recycled plastic and will never EVER rot.
Please Note: Composite Profiled Foundation Beams are currently unavailable for 19mm, 28mm and 34mm Log Cabins.
Basic foundation beam we send with all our log cabins as standard. Measures 4.4 x 7.0 x 300cm. This beam is pressure treated to ensure your first layer of logs are never sat in water thereby creating rot.
This is generally used for our log cabins and specifically for those with support posts either as part of a gazebo or as a veranda. Using these mean you can adjust the post according to seasonal variations, it will also of course secure it to the ground which is a must.
A ground anchor suitable for any posts up to 14cm thick. Perfect for use with arches, gazebos and carports. Fully adjustable for any post up to 14cm square
Concrete foundation for when you want to support posts such as with our log cabins, gazebos, fencing or larch garden buildings. Many other uses including foundations for a timber frame base for log cabins or other garden buildings/structures. Multiple types are available.
These pressure treated foundation beams are suitable for all log cabins. Featuring a 'profile', these beams allow water to drain away from the base of the building.
Adjustable post support suitable for holding posts that need occasional adjustment due to expansion or contraction or uneven surface. Recommended for log cabins with canopies supported by posts or for other garden buildings projects such as our Larch garden buildings
Height adjustment posts for our concrete foundation posts - Helpful when you want to support posts such as with our log cabins, gazebos, fencing or larch garden buildings. Both threaded and clamp styled adjustments available.
These hardwood foundation beams are suitable for all log cabins. Featuring a 'profile', these beams allow water to drain away from the base of the building. Being hardwood they will last for years. No treatment is ncessary although if regularly oild they really set off your log cabin and give the allusion your cabin is sat on a hardwood plinth.
Weed control matting for the suppression of weed. This is very useful under Log Cabins if you are not using a traditional concrete or paving slab base. Available in Seven sizes from 50cm wide up to 525cm, all of them are 100m in length. This weed matting acts by letting through water but suppressing weed growth.
Timber frame bases supplied and installed for your log cabin or garden structure. Supported with ground screws embedded into the ground by specialist machinery.
A timber frame base allows airflow to prevent rotting from occurring, as well as being often a cheaper and more practical solution compared to concrete bases.
