The Kreta Modern Gazebo is the only Pent roofed larch Gazebo available. Perfect for those who enjoy dining alfresco, use the Kreta Larch gazebo to create a sheltered outdoor eating area – all you need is an outdoor furniture set and a few of your friends and family! The roof provides protection from the elements and shade from the sun whilst the open sides maintain a link with your natural surroundings.

The wooden posts in each of the four corners support the unique construction of the pent style roof. For the perfect finishing touch, this gazebo is supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years.

Supplied in dried, smooth planned Larch.

Larch timber

Comes from well managed forest and is one of the most durable softwood species.

It has a very warm colour and texture. Larch is in great demand for use in building due to being tough, waterproof and high durable qualities: top quality, In central Europe it is viewed as one of the best wood for building houses.

It is within the timber durability class of 3 - 4 and is ideal for garden buildings and structures. It is a resinous wood whose heartwood colour exhibits amber pink to reddish brown and if often chosen for it's rich colour. As it ages it will eventually get a weathered look. We can provide very high quality treatments that will allow it to keep it's natural colour so valued.

Ground Anchors For Gazebos:

• Screw down Post Holders - An above ground fixing method, requires a hard standing such as concrete, slabs or a timber frame.
• Spiked Post Holders - A below ground fixing option, intended to be hammered into soft ground.
• Adjustable Ground Anchors - A below ground anchor which needs to be concreted into place.

 

Please note that there are no bolts/fixings with these post holders - They will need to be sourced separately.

Wall Kits for Gazebos:

Now available to select are DIY wall kits, Made from the same Larch timber and supplied with 22mm featherboard and 44x70mm framing timbers.

Many customers will also choose timber from our vast range of garden timber to create their own bespoke walls or bargeboards to further enhance the Kreta Larch Gazebo, We also have many forms of decking including Larch that you may like to consider.

Treatment:

Although this wooden gazebo is made from Larch and does not need treating it does benefit from a clear treatment if you wish to keep the unique colour offered by Larch. If treatment is not applied it will age and weather similar to oak.

Pent Roofing Options:

We offer three different types of roofing for the Modern gazebos.

• EPDM ( Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer ) Rubber roofing which is the best option, Supplied in a single sheet with no natural overlaps ( weak spots ), We supply two types of adhesive with the rubber roofing, A spray glue for the majority of the surface area and also a tube for a fill gun for around the edges. A good extra to consider with the EPDM are the metal modern roofing trims although you can achieve the same result with timber versions instead. EPDM has a lifespan of 20+ years
• Easy Roofing ( High Performance Polyester Base ) which is the second best option to consider, These arrive in rolls that are 5x1m a piece in sufficant volume for this modern gazebo. The Easy roofing is supplied with a self-adhesive backing meaning no extra glue is required. This roofing option like the EPDM can be finished off nicely with metal or timber roofing trims. Easy roofing has a life span of 15+ years
• Felt Roofing Kit, Standard rolls of roofing felt like what you will have seen on sheds in most UK gardens. supplied with clout nails and felt glue for the overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of 2 - 3 years and will need replacing over time.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option, Not a problem as you can select to purchase this gazebo without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.
