An immersion service for log cabins in Green, Brown or silver grey. This is an immersion service that provides a coating to the outer layer of the timber. This service can be used for any of our untreated products.

This is particularly useful for garages and some of our open gazebo log cabins.

Please select from the drop down list your log cabin.

The immersion may extend the life of the cabin and helps to guard against rot, fungi, insects and other processes that may affect the timber.

The immersion process uses immerses agents in a diffusion - immersion process, all the parts of the log cabin are treated including the windows, doors and roof. After immersion the cabin is allowed to air dry and is then re-packed.

Immersion treatment is a rot proof treatment, not a weatherproof treatment. Immersion treatment does not have moisture regulating properties and your building will not be weatherproof without a final treatment. If you do opt for a weatherproof treatment as well, the immersed timber has to be left for a few weeks to ensure that the wood is completely dry before weatherproofing.

Our log cabins can be treated in green, silver grey or brown as you require.

Included in the immersion treatment of log cabins:

  • Wall logs
  • Roof
  • Doors and windows.

Optional/included floors are not included in the immersion process and will arrive untreated

Additional purchased windows and doors are not included in the immersion and will arrive untreated.

Touch Up:

Additional touch up fluid can be ordered for use when any timber is cut. This is very useful if roof boards or floor boards are cut or if you are cutting in additional door and windows.

Delivery time for a treated log cabin will increase by up to 8 - 12 weeks as we need to ensure the immersion is fully dried.

When immersion treatment has been ordered this is making a standard product bespoke. We will request a 50% non refundable deposit of the total amount when an order is placed. Should you need to cancel the order we will try to sell your building to recover your deposit and return it to you once it is sold.

I would recommend everyone buying a timber building to have this treatment!
You can see the difference from bare wood. And it is very reassuring to know that your timber building will be around for many years rot free.

Very happy we choose the Immersion treatment not only from a protection point of view but for asthetics as well. The silver treatment blends in really well with our Grey themed build

Purchased this as a project to do, half is my Bar area and the other half is a Gym for my partner.
Well built cabin, easy to assemble, but could do with clearer instructions, still it has given very good serviced if protected with a good quality exterior paint should last well, would I buy again, YES most defiantly I am even considering an add on to my cabin !!

Impressed with the end result, none of the planks warped We chose the silver colour treatment and really pleased with how it looks. Hopefully this will add extra life to our cabin.

So pleased we ordered the treatment, saved time painting on anti rot! Received a small pot to paint any cut edges (which were very few as the cabin is extremely well made and only needed a minimal amount of shaving one piece to ensure secure fit above the door frame! We picked the silver colour which is lovely, and I am torn about painting the inside, I may use clear treatment as the colour is perfect like driftwood. I painted the outside with weatherproof paint in a grey green colour, and the frames blue which went on lovely (the silver treatment seemed to enhance the colours) I painted the door yellow and needed three coats for solid colour. The addition of treatment was said to add on time to the planned date of delivery but I think we were lucky as it arrived a lot earlier than we thought, meaning we could build it listening to Glastonbury! Recommend the treatment totally! It looks great and deep into the wood! Thanks TUIN!
