Larch Decking Kits - 300cm Width

Larch Garden Decking Kits in 300cm widths with depths from 2.1m up to 6m in increments of 0.30m. A popular alternative to the standard decking board made from pine, these grooved larch decking boards allow a unique take on a garden deck with their natural reddish colouring. Let us make things easier with our calculated garden decking kits - All of which are made to give you the correct number of frame beams, decking boards and screws.

We've also designed this kits to become the best of both worlds - Making them suitable to be used alongside your Log Cabin timber frame or one of our larch gazebos instead, The decking boards are grooved and 28mm in thickness. Along with the option of 95mm and 145mm thick framing beams- Please read more to find out which beam size is best for your project.

Please note: These kits will need to be cut to size during installation, see the detailed description for more information on what is included in our decking kits. This kit is only available for a 300cm width deck, if you require something wider please look into the rest of our Garden Decking Kits.

These boards are manufactured with a relief on one side- Perfect for the traditional garden decking look. The other side is smooth, this side can be used for a clean decking look,  See the detailed images on this page to find some examples of these kits being used for both decking and as a timber frame base.

You can either choose to purchase just the physical timber from us which is the default option, That's both the 28mm grooved decking boards and either the 95mm or 145mm deck framing beams. in this case no hardware such as screws or joist hangers will be supplied. Or you can select to also include these in your purchase with in the same "Options" section above where the sizes can be chosen.

Decking Boards:

• Decking board width of 145mm.
• 28mm Thick decking Boards
• European Larch Timber
• Premium quality.
• Untreated
• Kiln dried - to reduce warping and splitting.
• Planed smooth on the other side.

Framing Timbers:

• 44mm x 95mm
• 44mm x 145mm available
• North European Spruce.
• Pressure treated in green.
• Kiln Dried.
• Planed Smooth.

The framing timbers in either 95mm or 145mm may need to be cut to size during installation. 

The kit as supplied is for placing on a flat level area, directly onto weed matting. If you're planning to raise your decking instead of having it on ground level, there are multiple ways to do this: either with the use of posts or using something like our plastic adjustable post holders.

If you are planning to create a raised deck using our plastic timber frame adjustable base pads- We'd recommend that you select the 95mm thick frame beams when ordering your kit, the 95mm beams would also be suitable if you are planning to install your decking on a hard flat surface- On a concrete base for example. If you are planning to use timber posts to raise your decking, or plan to install it directly on soft ground then the 145mm thick beam option will be best for your project.

Decking Screws

We have selected two kinds of screws for these kits, however they are optional. To include screws and all other hardware we deem required please select this option after selecting your size.

Our decking screws feature a wax coating, allowing you to install them quicker and with less effort. These are also chosen for their compatibility with using a larch board. The framing screws have been chosen due to their large head which are known to be resistant to breakage. Our framing screws measure at 8mm x 100mm and require a Torx 40 drill bit, the drill bit is included when a box of screws are ordered. The framing screws also have a yellow zinc plated finish. The decking screws measure to 5mm x 50mm with a Torx head,  A universal screw made from stainless steel.
