Very pleased with the end product, good solid study structure that I’m sure will last a longtime.
Easy buying from start to finish and the delivery team were excellent, ringing an hour out and unloading straight forward.
You will need some experience with DIY this isn’t for the 1st timer, instructions limited, but enough.
Took an entire weekend to get up in place and the rubber roof is a must for things to hold up to our Northern weather!
Already exploring options to buy other Tuin products and squeeze into the family garden.

Having been looking for quite a while for the perfect garden retreat I decided on the Tuin Modern Gazebo. Everything arrived on the expected date in February and so the build could begin.
Unfortunately after inspection the 2 smaller upright posts had rather large and long splits. Although Tuin stated that these would not cause any problems, on taking advice from a local joiner he advised that they should be replaced.
Now what should have been a relatively straight forward process turned into a marathon.
When asking for the posts to be replaced I specifically asked to be kept informed of timescales as I needed the Gazebo for my daughters 21st birthday in April. After my initial request I was asked not to keep forwarding emails as this would put my request to the back of the queue.
So 3 weeks later I email again asking for updates to be told that it would be a few weeks till they would be delivered.
So after another flurry of emails expecting the parts to arrive before my daughters birthday in April I was still no further from getting a specific date.
My daughters birthday has come and gone and still no sign of the posts. At this stage I'm seriously contemplating sending everything back as I feel I'm being fed fish food and not being told when or what is happening.
Eventually around mid May after further emails I am now told that there is a wood shortage and the posts are being cut at the factory in Holland. Great finally someone has told me why it has taken so long. If this was the case back in February why had it taken almost 3 months for someone to at least tell the truth.
Again no specific date is given but as they are being cut you would would expect a week at most before they would be delivered.
Unfortunately late June was when they arrived.
My Gazebo is now at least built but no epdm on yet as I haven't had the time to complete this due to other factors.
I have only given this a 3 star rating not because of the product, which is very good, but because of the service which I believe was way below what should have been expected If I had been told right at the start that there was a wood shortage and that there could be a long delay I would have been comfortable with that. Unfortunately due to the fact that I was fobbed off with " it will be a few weeks" every time I emailed asking on progress, is why the rating is 3 star.
Whilst I appreciate Covid has had an impact, and Tuin have had problems with their suppliers, it still doesnt discount the need for basic honesty and good customer service.
I would recommend the product as a 5 star but unless their customer service can be brought in line it will remain as 3 star.

I am very happy with the gazebo, and with the service and support from Tuin too. The kit of parts was delivered without issue, all the pieces were there which is what you would expect. What particularly impressed me was the accuracy of the cutting - everything was the right length, so it all went together very easily. In fact, between me and my 13 year old son we got most of the structure up in a day and a half, and then finished the felting and trim pieces over the next couple of weekends as time and weather allowed.

I used the adjustable post-holders. These worked perfectly and helped me deal with an unexpected buried pipe which limited the available depth in one corner.

Now that the structure is up it is very solid, and hasn't shown any stress through Storm Ciara or Storm Dennis. All in all I am very happy with it.

After a long time searching for a gazebo that did not require planning permission and suited the tropical theme of my garden, I was very pleased to find the Medium Modern Gazebo by Tuin.

After ordering, communication from their team was excellent and I could not fault the driver (who was very polite and helpful). The build took me a weekend, and although I did need a hand for supporting a few sections, I was able to carry out the majority of the fixings alone.

Everything came in good quantities and the instructions were fairly straightforward. I would recommend using a high powered drill and suggest drilling pilot holes before using the screws. I found that the roofing felt was exactly enough, although make sure not to not leave too much excess overhang otherwise you will find yourself short.

I am really pleased with the finished result and it is a fantastic feature to my garden. I look forward to using it all year round!
