Don’t be fooled that basic DIY skills are enough but putting that aside, this has transformed my garden. Solidly built and looks incredible. A few things to note…make sure the cables are fully central in the eyelets because the unit will expand slightly in heat. This can make the canopy stick. Checking they are in the centre of the eyelets and a quick coating of Vaseline on the wires will do the trick. Also think carefully about the ground anchors. I set mine in concrete with chemical bolts as the last thing you need is finding your pergola on the other side of the garden after a stormy night! Overall though this was such a good buy and I researched a lot of units. Everyone who sees it wants to know where it came from as it looks so amazing.
