This is a lovely impressive looking product. It's very heavy and sturdy even without being screwed down. The building instructions were virtually non existent though which made construction a confusing and unnecessarily lengthy process.
Very pleased now it's up - worth all the hard work.

Our 2nd Gazebo in 7 months from TUIN. The quality of this gazebo is fabulous and quick delivery by very helpful driver placing it carefully onto our drive. We subsequently ordered two roll up sides which fabulous customer service arrived in days in time for our fitter. We love the vaulted roof inside and it fits our wooden kitchen and its patio are perfectly - we are delighted as we can now cook outside all year round!

what a great gazebo it really looks better up and on site it took a while getting it done but it was worth the wait.

A lovely gazebo but quite an ordeal putting it up as very poor instructions and after sale technical support. The on line video regarding assembly was very generic and not specific to the one that we had chosen. The brochure that came with the gazebo stated that nails were required but in actual fact the technical support team disagreed with this instruction and recommended screws. There were gaps in the structure so we had to use our own timber to seal them. All in all disappointing.

Excellent product. We were delighted with the quality and design of the Gazebo, it looks great. My only reservation would be instructions! They do need to be clearer.

We are really pleased with our Tourist gazebo. It is of good quality and looks great. I bought the item last October but due to a variety of reasons including constant rain, I did not assemble it until May. However it survived careful over-winter storage in the garage quite well. A few points I would make are as follows.
1. Tuin say that building the gazebo is a two person job. They are very wise! I’ve proved that it can be built single handed BUT it’s very hard, very time consuming and great care is needed not to introduce any errors especially if using spiked ground anchors.
2. The roof boards are delivered cut to size with angled ends. I found them to be uncomfortably short or worse. Some spares are delivered but they are not substitutes for the longest. About a quarter of the way up, I could use the spares and then go back to the intended boards using them each one slot higher up and cutting them to size. I would have preferred to have all of the boards square ended and oversized so that I could cut them as I required.
3. There are several sources of build instructions, blogs and videos. All are helpful but vary in places leading to some confusion. A few construction drawings could be improved by giving extra detail.
4. The shingles give a great final look (though not tested by strong winds yet). As stated in another review, I also found the need to use longer felt nails than those supplied.
5. Tuin are very helpful and respond quickly to queries.

Excellent quality gezebo with extremely good customer service. I originally considered buying a gezebo from another online company who say they are no. 1 for gezebo but after seeing there trust pilot scores of only 50% good reviews I decided on Tuin as they had nearly 100% good reviews. Definitely made the right choice. The only slight issue was to do with delivery and that is more to do with me living in a small lane and being told the haulage company's forklift would not fit down the lane, but this is documented on Tuin Web site so was not a surprise. The only think I would say is when I asked if it was possible to let me know the day it would be delivered so I could take time off work I was told because it was a haulage firm delivering not a courier this would not be possible. I took the risk and even though it ended up being delivered a day I was at work my wife was home and the delivery driver from the haulage firm was amazing he managed to squeeze his forklift down our lane and deliver onto our driveway.

A good value for money gazebo. Takes a bit of working out for the uninitiated but Tuin are always there to email and what’s more you get speedy responses! Overall a bit more involved than you might imagine but managed to get there in the end. If you’re not in the building trade or an accomplished DIY enthusiast it will probably take you longer to build than you think. Would have given five stars but taken one star off for delivery. The driver rode over my front lawn with his fork lift and my gazebo load. There was no need for him to do so. Left two six inch deep wheel furrows with a mound between the furrows. Now having to think how to correct this stupidity on what was once a nice flat lawn!

I bought our gazebo to house our potential purchase of a hot tub for the garden.
As mentioned in other reviews, once it was delivered I did wonder if I would be able to build this as there is quite a lot of wood delivered. Fears were soon addressed though, it was actually quite easy to sort out and assemble.
I would certainly advise watching the videos posted on the website especially concerning the shingle roof if this is something you haven’t done before.
Now erected and in use, it really is a lovely looking gazebo, very sturdy and looks like it’s going to last a good number of years.
We are very pleased with it and would purchase Tuin again if we Ahmad a similar project at any time.

Our new gazebo will be a wonderful addition to the garden. It took roughly 2 1/2 days for two people to put up. It has given us an additional garden room where we have a table for 6 people and still room around us under the roof.

Excellent products, went together well, looks good in the garden

Overall I was pleased with the purchase. The frame went together quickly and easily although some of the roof slats were cut very tight and had to be nailed on at an angle. The shingle roof is very time consuming if you are putting it on yourself but worth the effort as it looks great.
I think the end result is very good but would add that the two companies I contacted to erect the gazebo ( suggested by Tuin ) wanted a minimum £1,000 to do the job. Considering the original cost and the kit form it arrived in , that is I feel excessive .
But thank you Tuin, the end result is impressive and the comment of one of your staff ( you can put it up yourself with a few willing hands and some diy know how proved correct.

Love this gazebo, it’s beautiful to look at, well made, strong. Purchased the patio bolt downs to secure it for windy weather. I have painted it with willow garden paint and under white roof. Dressed it for a birthday party with balloons, paper tassels and paper honeycomb balls and it looked amazing, my 8 seater table plus two chairs have more than enough room underneath. The delivery time was spot on and driver was very very helpful. Customer service was amazing keeping us constantly updated. Thank you Tuin for an excellent product that’s stunning in my garden

The information added to the Tuin site about how to approach it was invaluable; especially relating to tiling with asphalt tiles which was a new challenge for me. Excellent looking sturdy Gazebo, only improvement might be option of longer supports to allow them to be concreted in rather than use metal post holders , my landscapers who built it prefer concreting in posts.

Tuin Tourist Gazebo; Purchased and built pretty much on my own having help only in pitching the main roof trusses. Regard myself as a competent DIY'er. Added 8 jack rafters (a bit technical to get cuts right) as span of roof boards seemed a little excessive and glad I did. Others have mentioned these as well. One of the main posts had a timber shake but that was fine for what the structure is. Took me 3 days in total to install with only assistance in pitching roof. Used a long timber held vertically in a workmate screwed to the king post to support roof trusses during building and removed temporary support once building was completed. Do ensure you mix the shingles from differing packs to avoid colour block effect of the shingles. Careful setting out of the main posts (position and level) ensured it went together well. Price drop a couple of weeks after buying lead me to think I paid a little over the odds but generally a good kit which went up without major problems. I found the videos on fitting the shingles very helpful. Instructions could be improved but adequate for someone with practical skills or a trades person. Overall satisfied and able to recommend. Company delivered on time and delivery driver was polite and very helpful.

Very pleased with this wooden gazebo and customer service is excellent

It looked a little daunting when the gazebo arrived. There seemed to be a lot of wood. In fact, within minutes, it had all been categorised and laid out, ready to make a start with the construction the following day. My wife and I completed the building in a few days. It was during the "lockdown" and we weren't in any hurry. It was all very straightforward and worth the effort. It looks absolutely great and has made an enormous difference to our garden. I had been promising to build a gazebo for ages but kept putting it off. (Perhaps a little intimidated by the prospect) I wish I had done it earlier. It is a strong and substantial structure. In fact, a couple of days after completion we had a gale. It hadn't the slightest effect on the gazebo. It is now somewhere to sit in the shade, from the sun, or undercover when there is a shower, allowing us to still be outdoors and enjoying our garden. It houses a large, six-seater outdoor dining table and a host of shade loving plants.
The process of purchasing the gazebo and delivery etc were excellent. Absolutely delighted with the gazebo and the service that we received from the company.

Nice sturdy product and finished well, 3 or more people is a must for putting on the roof section.
A bit more communication required on delivery dates, maybe a update after a week, if you know it will be 2 weeks of more.
But overall a very nice product and fitting in with the landscape project very nicely.

Absolutely delighted with this product. It was professionally installed by Warren Young in less that two day and it looks absolutely fabulous on our patio. I would highly recommend Warren as an installer. Not only was his quote more reasonable than other, but his workmanship is faultless.

Great delivery with good communication. The kit is as described. You need some carpenter skills along with the ability to get things square. I found the most trying part of the build was the roof I built mine from the top down but I still had to climb onto the roof to finish the job. Overall the finish is very good and I am proud of the gazebo. The ground it is built on slopes so completed the job with decking. The reason for the four stars is that some of the roofing boards were warped and difficult to fit. When fitting the shingles take care in keeping them level. Overall an excellent kit, excellent customer care, pity about the roof boards.

order and delivery went well, got it in about 10 days, found it fairly easy to put up, has the odd split on wood and wood on roof bit twisted, the black felt shingles I picked really finish it off very well, maybe be better with a few more rafters on the roof or thicker timbers that shingles are nailed to as it does bounce the first few rows, but over all im very pleased with it as it covers my hot tub well, my family and neighbours think its really nice,, im very pleased with product and if I needed anything else know tuins website to view other things,,

An excellent product, I think that it would be better if it had “pre drilled” holes this would make it easier to construct and also the plans are quite vague, I had to keep looking at the website to get the information required (as a little example I actually put the centre spindle on upside down) that said the product looks fantastic

Tuin "Tourist" Gazebo. This is an excellent product that now enhances my garden as a stand alone feature as well as offering the practical options we desired. This sturdy substantial construction provides shade on hot sunny days and a pleasant ambience lit up on warm evenings.
It is well made quite chunky and was not difficult to erect. We are extremely happy with the service and the gazebo.

Excellent product, very straight forward and satisfying to assemble, just a little time and patience required.

I used black shingles, a decking base and fitted guttering, which really finished the job, together with 2 coats of decking oil.

Our neighbours are now asking if I will erect a Tuin building in their garden for them!

Bought this Gazebo on the recommendation from my neighbour and friend. The Gazebo has been assembled and looks great. Good quality and really competitive price. Arrived as per promise and overall very happy. Only minor snag was some of the roof timbers were a bit warped and although was a bit tricky to attach was sorted in the end.

Having had a portable gazebo for many years (i.e. put up in April and take down in September) decided that it was time for something more permanent. I'd seen the Tuin Grande Open Gazebo being used as a cover at a lay-by café and was greatly impressed by the quality as were the owners. Gazebo delivered as agreed and fortunately it was erected with a friend, just in time for the Easter fine weather. Would recommend this product.

We have now bought 3 of these gazebos for our glamping pod business. They have finished our pods off brilliantly. They are great quality solid units.
They cover our hot tubs perfectly and look great.
Assembly is straight forward takes 5 hours or so mostly spent nailing the tiles on. You need longer felt nails than they supply, we use 20mm nails and even 25mm.
We also used a nail gun for the sarking boards as we don’t intend to take them down ever.
The company that delivers the kits are also really good. They have always been happy to run up our hill with their forklifts without question.
All in all very pleased with everything.

We live our new gazebo. The is always the great buying online that the finish/materials will be a bit but quite what you thought they would be. Not the case with this. Nice and chunky, well balanced and sturdy. I had no complaints from the chap assembling it either. The driver even went the extra mile to put the pallet just where it would be easiest for us, certainly not for him. All in good job, Tuin. I would happily but from you again.

Gazebo is up !, took me a few weekends but extremely pleased with it, very high quality product and thoroughly recommended.

Thanks again to Tuin for all your help with my questions, its not often these days that personal helpful advice is available within 30 minutes (especially on weekends when it’s most needed !).

Few comments re: my experience with building, hopefully helpful to anyone else considering buying one.

1. Take your time, especially with the shingles !

2. It definitely helps to have several people around for getting the main structure up, but once that was complete I managed the roof boards and shingles on my own (although would be faster with help).

3. Not for the the faint hearted, but after putting up the main posts and ring beam we then built the rest of the roof structure on the ground with the intention of just drilling all the pilot holes while it was easier to access and then planned to put each piece in place as per the instruction videos. But we then decided to see if we could lift the whole thing up while it was still assembled.... with 3 tall people, and a couple of ladders it is possible albeit a bit awkward and probably not recommended !.

4. After completion I went around and doubled up on screws in various places, mainly around the ring beam and corner supports.

5. I ran out of shingles, probably because I made several mistakes, but ordered an extra pack which arrived within a few days, also decided to get a finial for the roof top, again very fast delivery and made things a lot easier with keeping things neat.

So far It’s survived several wet and windy weeks, including hurricane Brian so have no doubt all will be well for a long time yet, just needs a few coats of timber treatment and lights to be fitted properly but that will have to wait until next spring.

We are delighted with the tourist gazebo. It is well made and very sturdy. It looks great in our garden.
I put it up myself with the aid of a 6ft scaffold tower. The instructions could have been more helpful but a competent diyer with basic tools can do it.
Delighted with our purchase and recommend Tuin.

Overall a very good product, very solid and very attractive. I am an accountant by trade and not practical at all. I built this gazebo mainly by myself, but had help from my nephew to get the roof supports on. It took me about 5 days including putting the shingles on, but would take 2 people much much less than half the time. My only tip would be to consider fitting the shingles as you fit the roof. This is the opposite to most of the online instructions which show the fitting to a completed roof from the bottom up. The supplied instructions are very basic which I liked. Its all a bit this is where everything fits you decide how to put it together. It's still standing a week after I put it up and that is pretty remarkable for me. It looks fantastic and the shingles make for a great finish. The delivery was made on the wrong day (when I was away) which proved incredibly inconvenient. But otherwise the service was pain free.

We bought this to go over our hot tub so we can use it even when the rain is pouring down. It's Top quality. Very strong and sturdy and looks great. Delivered when promised and brought up our drive into the garden by a very skilled driver.
We employed a local joiner to put ours together with my husband acting as 'labourer' as it's a 2 man job. We also felt a quality item should be put together by a professional saving us a lot of time and swearing. I'm sure we could of done it but it would of taken weeks instead of a day & a bit.
Anyway we are really happy with it. I'd definitely recommend getting the shingles rather than just the felt as they really finish it off well.
It looks fabulous and does exactly what we wanted it to do.

good quality, everything that should have been supplied was ther. Decided to get proffesional carpenter to erect and glad I did. took one and a half days to complete mainly due to the fitting of the shingles.

This Is a very sturdy and wellmade gazebo. My husband managed to build it himself. Although I would recommend at least two people. It's exactly what we wanted. Couldn't be more happy. We were kept informed of the delivery and it was delivered early on the day stayed.

We started at 10am and by 4 pm after a couple of short breaks it was all installed and ready for felt shingles to be installed. We had never assembled one of these before. The instructions were simple and we just followed them. It looks great. Everyone who has seen it can't believe how good it looks. My sister in law now wants to buy one.

The sales / order team couldn't have been more helpful.
Delivery was handled really smoothly. Helpful driver called when he was 30 mins away and very skilfully leaves it exactly where you want it on your drive.
Quality of the product is excellent.
I'm a reasonable DIYer and had my son-in-laws all day to help.
The Tuin fitting advice suggest pre-drilling all holes. We needed an emergency trip to buy a extra long 6mm wood drill; made it so much easier with that.

We considered many gazebos but settled on this one because of the sturdy look to it. We are imensley pleased with the product. It is so well made and the construction was very easy. The gazebo looks fabulous and our hottub fits under as if it's been made bespoke for it. Perfect service and delivery driver was amazingly helpful so 5 stars to Tuin.

I bought this gazebo to go on a new patio. It's exactly what I expected and really pleased with the product. I would say you need to have a certain level of DIY skills to tackle it yourself and it's pretty high up when dealing with the apex of the roof. A good head for heights and a good mate to help is essential. I would recommend this though without hesitation.

This is a really excellent product. I was fed up with flimsy metal pipe and material gazebos and wanted a decent, all weather product. I am really glad I found the Tuin website. Although the gazebo build instructions are quite basic, the on line videos are well worth watching and anyone with basic DIY skills can put this together. It is a two person job. The finished gazebo has really improved the look of the garden and I've had quite a few envious comments. The Tuin sales staff are excellent and checked my order to ensure I was buying the correct additional parts. The delivery firm were very helpful and made sure the pallet with all the parts was unloaded and put on the drive safely.
Well worth the money.

The gazebo is of good quality, however, it could of done with some additional rafters which we put in ourselves as it stops the roof bending and warping and being flimsy. Instructions not great and did it our own way with a lot of help from a family carpenter. It is solid and well worth the money though.

Really pleased with the product, looks great in situ, cannot really comment on the construction side as I had a landscaping person do it. They didn't seem to have many problems though.
Would recommend that the metal post brackets (sunken into ground) are bought at the same time, the person who constructed thought he could easily buy the correct size locally but couldn't. Bought fromTuin and arrived the day after order...fantastic as this really didn't delay the construction at all.

We ordered our Gazebo although we haven't put it up yet as we are waiting for our builder to arrive. We were very impressed with the service so far and the answers to our e-mails were a huge help. The gazebo is stored in our garage at the moment until the new paving has been laid, but the quality of the gazebo looks really good and the delivery and communication from the couriers was first class.

We only needed help to erect the posts for the gazebo but after that we managed with basic DIY skills. The staff at Tuin were very helpful and really pleased with the results.

arrived well packed and of good quality timber. I had a few questions which were promptly answered within the hour. When i found i was a few shingles short they were delivered within 2 days. So i can highly recommend Tuin and this product. As i work shift work and was not in any hurry to complete i took my time with the assistance of my wife and was completed within 3 weeks of delivery. I live in a windy area so i decided to fit a good quality netting over the Gazebo tiles for added security from the elements and also used Tuin glue. I also installed a good quality bead curtain for slight privacy. It now proudly covers my new hot tub and the comments from friends and family are tremendous. Arrived on the day we requested, very pleasant driver, the product was very well packed and there were no damages. If you are going to erect it yourself you will need to have a high level of D I Y skills and a comprehensive selection of tools. The instructions that come with the kit are very basic. The gazebo is very well made and offers good value for money, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase and it looks fantastic in our garden. A very happy customer.

The Gazebo was of very good quality. I had to request further instructions as pages missing from package received which were emailed same evening. Product looks excellent now finished. My only niggle is one of 6" support posts is slightly twisted which I appreciate happens with treated timber. Would recommend to others.

The gazebo itself is well constructed and good quality. I found it reasonably straight forward to put together. The instructions were quite basic though so I would not recommend it be tackled by an amateur.
We have already enjoyed several afternoons and evenings in it.
I also added a back panel onto it to make it more cosy.
I found Tuin to be very responsive and when I found one of the parts had been damaged during transit they replaced it within 2 working days. Fantastic service.

This is a great gazebo, looks amazing in the garden and gives it the structure it needs. Definitely recommend buying the shingles at the same time, they really do set it off, we went for the red curved and everyone has commented on how good they look. Loads of space for a family of 4 + furniture. Only negative point is the instructions, please, for others improve them. it would save a lot of time. BTW the delivery driver was helpful, giving tips on assembly which were useful.

Brilliant - delivery went smoothly. The product is sturdy, exactly as the pics and I love it. The instructions were a little unclear but we managed - my husband says when putting the roof on start at the bottom. It really is exactly what we wanted.

Excellent manufacturing and value for money. Instructions could be better however anyone with some common sense and diy capability should have no problem. Pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend.
