Richard Log Cabin 2x2m

The delivery schedule was excellent and exceeded my expectation. The communication for delivery was excellent and the driver telephoned stating his time of arrival. He was most helpful and very efficient.
This was the second cabin I had purchased from Tuin, and again the quality was very good.
The information supplied with the cabin made assembly very straight forward.
Overall an excellent purchase.

Great customer service from the start. Have not erected the Richard cabin as yet but the quality is excellent. The free shingles are great and will finish the cabin well. The delivery was faultless and the driver very helpful and professional. Would recommended to others.

This is the second major purchase I have made with Tuin (first was a veranda reviewed at the time). As before this cabin is a quality item, not cheap, but overall really good value. I would be happy to recommend to anyone.
Actually I bought this to use almost as a kit of parts to make a high quality shed. I turned it into a sort of lean-to, ie I removed one wall and built it against a brick wall. To do this I used the spare timber from the removed wall to make all the additional bits. The timber was a pleasure to work with. Putting together all the original bits with the machine cut joints provided by Tuin was easy. The project took a while because of the alterations (and the freezing weather!) but I really enjoyed the whole process and I am really pleased with the result.
As last time the customer service from Tuin was first class despite the fact they seemed extra busy.

What an amazing company, our shed was delivered trouble free during uk lockdown. The cabin was relatively easy to put together and looks beautiful also very sturdy, we are extremely happy our purchase.

Richard log cabin ...needed a small shed....but this one more than fitted the bill. perfect in all aspects - build quality, ease of assembly and although it was slightly more expensive than a 'bog standard' shed well worth the extra. just need to save up for a large summer house!

I ordered a Richard Log Cabin 2mx2m to replace an old shed. The delivery firm rang to see if they could deliver a day earlier than originally stated, and this was no problem. The delivery driver was very helpful and offered to get the pallet as close to our back garden as possible. This saved us moving the various parts of the cabin from the bottom of the drive to the back garden. Unfortunately the wrong base was delivered and so build of the cabin was delayed by a few days whilst we waited for the correct base to arrive. The new base arrived by a courier who nearly crashed into the house and was rather rude and just dumped the delivery next to the house in an inconvenient place, but I guess Tuin don't have much control over courier drivers!
I already have a 44mm log cabin so the build of this new cabin was a familiar process, though the instructions are pretty clear for anyone building for the first time. Once I had the base level, building the wall structure was straightforward. the only issue I had with parts was that the gable end parts had been screwed together for delivery using star head screws and needed to be separated in order to fit in place, which wasn't easy as these were substantial screws and embedded well in the logs! Unfortunately one log of the gable end was broken (I just screwed it back together) and two of the end parts on the gable end logs were snapped off (which I believe there is a warning about on the website), again I just screwed these into place when building the cabin. Once everything was fixed in place, the damaged parts are not noticeable. The roof was straightforward to complete, though I would suggest a large stepladder is procured before starting to put the roof together. the grey shingles supplied look great on there and really make it look like a cabin rather than a shed. The most difficult part of the build was the floor as the floorboards do not come sized to the cabin and so all need cutting to size. Also to complete the floor, some cut boards need joining as there aren't enough full boards to do each run in a single plank. Now the cabin build is complete (it needs painting when I can get out to buy some!) it looks great and I'm sure will last for many years. It is very sturdy and is clearly manufactured to high tolerances as all the parts fit together really well. Overall we are very pleased with our new "shed"!

Good service, easily assembled by two handymen. We added a gutter and drainpipe to stop rainwater splashing the sides. It looks good at the far end of a north London garden and has received many compliments I am thinking of using it as a reading and children’s play room. Being softwood, we could not get a tight fit round the door and thinking of adding a draught excluder strip. The cabin has been painted with Cuprinol sea grass. It’s too good for a tool shed

I was recommended Tuin by a garden designer and am really pleased I bought it. The Richard log cabin is exactly what I needed. It is a very attractive shed so will enhance the look of any garden or house. Whilst not the biggest shed internally it makes up for it being solid and well made.

Dealing with Tuin was really easy and delivery straightforward. I got a professional, as recommended by Tuin, to build the shed and am glad I did. Although I'm a fairly handy DIY'er this would have taken me hours. In fact it took the pro about 4 hrs to build himself.

The only thing I would do differently is maybe have the shed pre-coated before delivery. Having bought Embadecor to protect the shed I guess I never realised how long it takes to put on 3 - 4 coats, allowing for drying each time. Whilst it works really well to waterproof the wood it's pretty time consuming.

In the end I now have a great, solid shed which is watertight, attractive to look at and should last for many many years to come.

I am not one to write reviews as a rule but feel I must for Tuin. What a fantastic product,quick and easy to assemble and looks fantastic. The whole experience has been a pleasure from start to finish. Great service,great products and great results.

Ordered the Richard cabin easy to erect and very solid.Looks great in my smallish garden, took one day to build, shingles and flooring next day.Treated door and facias for winter and will wait until spring to treat walls. One happy customer.

A perfect sized cabin/shed for tha garden. Delivered when promised and excellent instructions for assembly. Very impressed.

Very happy with my Richard log cabin now that it is completely installed. Looks good and roof shingles give a good finish. Delivery was very good, driver was even able to put everything into my garage as it was raining heavily at time of delivery. Building instructions should be improved, some numbers on the instructions differed from those marked on the woods. Only after completion, I realised that roof fascias should actually have been fitted higher up, not clear on instructions. Three pieces of timber were damaged, two for flooring and one for the roof but there were plenty spare so did not need to use these. Very happy with this purchase!

Very good quality product,comes nicely packed and well delivered. Easy to assemble and looks first class.

Very helpful telephone ordering service and quick delivery. The product was very well wrapped, dry and un-damaged. We chose to paint ours before assembly, in the garage, so it was kept clean and dry. Assembly was elegantly straightforward, the online video showed exactly how do do each step. Overall, I cannot fault the cabin, it exceeds expectations as a finished item and was a delight to put together. Many happy hours have already been spend fitting out as a workshop.
