Rectangular Trellis Arch

Great trellis, good quality & easy to erect. However, needed to add diagonal bracings at each corners for stability .

A useful and fun to build project which enhances the garden.

Bought to replace an ancient trellis arch which disintegrated in windy weather, it was very very old though, and just resting on the ground.

Construction was easy; do drill pilot holes for the screws, countersinking is an option to enhance the appearance and protect the screws from the inevitable rust in a few years.
Holes are best drilled before construction, obvious point to some maybe!

I chose to put all 4 posts into post holders to avoid the fate of the old arch, and applied Cuprinol wood preserver to the first foot or so of the posts and all cut edges , not really sure this was required, but its done now and I will sleep easier for doing it.

An electric drill/screwdriver is essential!

Instructions could be larger, though not really needed, as the construction is obvious.

Trellis Arch was well packed - delivered on time.
Good timber used all round——sturdily made.
Went together very well,—— and got it up “almost” dead square.
It is the width I needed. So many are wider.

The rectangular trellis was much better quality than we expected for the price paid and was very good value for money. It arrived in perfect condition and was easy to erect. Absolutely love it!

Rectangular trellis arch is just what I wanted. We did need 2 men to assembly it to make sure all was aligned correctly.. Waiting niw for roses to grow up tge trellis

Ref order no.46446 in September on receipt of arch found 1 side panel and top rail warped, but assembled arch and my hubby managed to straighten them out, was well pleased with the end result am now about to order a further arch fingers crossed this time

We ordered two trellis arches. First one was delivered then the second. A mistake was made in that one rectangular and one curved arch was delivered. When we pointed this out to Tuin, the problem was soon rectified, with the replacement coming along within a day or two. Thank you Tuin.
We are very happy with the arches and they are good value for money.

The finished arch looks great and quality is excellent. At first I thought it would make it difficult to assemble because the screw holes are not pre-drilled, but then I realised it meant I could adjust the distances to raise or lower the trellis sections and I could choose how wide I spaced them. This worked out well for me.

Love it, looks really good in my garden and really good quality for such a low price. Service great, no problems at all. Even got a phone call to ask if I had ordered the correct amount of holders for the ground as normally would need 4 but it was being attached to a fence so only required 2 but great that they rang incase. Would definitely buy from Tuin again

A very simple design but looks really good when assembled and is a great addition to the garden.
Would recommend it for looks and cost.
