I am very impressed with my Georg cabin.
Good quality wood , no rough edges , sturdy .
Attractive cabin and the veranda gives a really useful extra space , looks great with table and chairs .
The doors are wide giving a bright airy feel to the cabin .
Have to add, that I had a window put in the side wall and personally think is this essential to the light in the cabin .
Overall , very pleased and had only positive comments from visitors .

I purchased the George cabin. Very good quality. My builder said assembly was easy although as a very amateur DIYer I wouldn’t have attempted it myself. For anyone reasonably handy I would think self assembly is possible.
Delivery was straight forward and on schedule.

First of all the website deserves a mention, since it's probably the most well informed and helpful I've come across, and the main reason for finally choosing to buy from Tuin. Lots of great advice on how to get started, and videos to learn from.
Next the delivery service. Wow, these guys were brilliant. Bang on time, and the driver was incredily efficient and precise. I said where I wanted the pack, and I think it was placed with mm accuracy.
When it came to unpacking, that was the next nice surprice. Everyting was so neat and perfectly packed it was so easy to identify all the pieces. I had help from other family members for this, and due to that fact it wasn't until almost completing the build I noticed two parts were missing (I'll come back to this later).
Anyway, started un packing after lunch on Friday, and by 17:30 my son and I had built up all walls, and fitted the long rafter beams. It really is that simple, and I completed the rest of the project by myself. This was done over the weekend and all the evenings of fhe following week.

There really is a lot of nails to bang in!

The only part I struggled with is the door frame. The instruction leaflet was next to useless, and if anything added to my confusion, so I just went with instinct in the end. The two missing bits were a couple of planks used to finish the ends of the roof as wind boards. The pack was supposed to have 4 of these, but in fact there were only 2. Luckily I had some spare wood and they were more than adequate for the purpose. I'd say that perhaps spare roof boards, or floor boards could have been used instead, but it wasn't a show stopper.
Lastly, I followed the very helpful online video very closely to fix the shingles and it was apparent that the 7 packs sent with the cabin wouldn't quite be enough to do the job in completely the same way. Nonetheless, there were just enough with some minor adjustments to the layout, and I completed the task regardless. 8 packs of shingles would have been better, allowing for a couple of mistakes perhaps and some spares, if required.

On the whole, an excellent product, very well priced, and with excellent customer service. I am very satisfied with the results.

We bought the Georg Log Cabin and I can safely say it's been the purchase of the century for us. It's amazing, great quality, very spacious and has changed out lives. My husband and I treated and erected it over 2 days, with little argument which is a true testament of good instructions. I would thoroughly recommend this product and the Company to anyone. We're regularly show it off to anyone who's interested!

Tuin is the most professional company I've dealt with in years. Excellent customer service has gone into every aspect of pre-sale selection, fulfilment and product design. We are delighted customers and highly recommend the company. The Georg Log Cabin is excellent and most of the build instructions are clear and helpful. In a couple of areas, the instructions were generic to other cabins and this could be improved so that they are specific but overall, we had no difficulty following them. We also found a few slightly warped and damaged timbers but, as stated in the instructions, these were minor flaws and not issues when they formed part of the cabin; and wood is wood! The finished cabin is excellent and I intend to post a video shortly. I read reviews before buying and if you are in that position reading this, I'm pleased to say that I'm delighted with my choice and would definitely buy from Tuin again.

Very pleased with Georg fits very well into out garden.Arrived on the date specified and was up within three days with all the work carried out by myself. Being only 28 mm logs none of the parts were too heavy .I purchased at the same time a double glazed window for one side and fitted two sky lights yet again to one side of the roof. I also added two side wind screens which finish the cabin off very nicely .I added the floor with insulation which makes the cabin very cosy .Very please with just guttering to add and preservative.The only issue I did have was there were no plans in the kit when delivered however when I contacted Tuyin I was sent some pictures and with the video you can see on line the build was very straight forward.

I will split this review into 3 parts, quality, design and service.
Quality: very good, some joints broken on the longer purlins, but no major problems. Instructions are OK, but for this cabin not at all clear on the door frame and door assembly. This took a while to work out. The optional floor is not of the same quality as the rest of the cabin
Design: Excellent, looks very good now built.
Service, this was well below the level expected after reading lots of reviews and let the whole experience down. It started with my delivery date, the cabin was ordered 4 weeks in advance, which was missed – upon enquiry I was told the cabin had been damaged in transit but another would be ordered and delivered the next week. I had to contact Tuin to find out where my cabin was!
Another was ordered and then I had to re make payment because the original authorisation had run out?
I was pretty annoyed by this time as I and my wife had both taken a week off work to take delivery and put the cabin together and I was the one doing the chasing.
On eventual arrival, a week after scheduled, the cabin was unpacked and found to be missing one of the front canopy supports and its adjustable mounting.
Another was ordered and I was told it would be delivered ASAP. No news or communications after a week, so I contacted Tuin again to be told the parts were on order from Holland and would be sent as soon as they were available. This was 3 weeks after delivery , the build could not proceed without the support post. I made the suggestion that I should source the post locally and get a joiner to make one to match the one I had. The guy I spoke to (sorry didn’t catch your name) said he could make 2 matching posts in the workshop, put 28 mm notches in and get them out to me by Friday together with adjustable anchors– this was Tuesday. I agreed this was an excellent solution as I had a friend coming over to help me complete the build over the weekend.
Thursday received email saying posts had been sent out on next day delivery, great all on track
Friday, arrive home from work 4.30pm, no parts. Tuin contacted, said the courier would deliver before 6pm.
Saturday, no parts!!. No option but a trip to the local timber yard to get some posts made at MY EXPENSE AND TIME, also purchased some supports to match.
Parts arrived the following Tuesday, and to top it all – the 28 mm notches had been cut in the wrong direction, so they would have been useless anyway. The supports in the package were very small and flimsy and not strong enough to support the canopy. Very poor.
Overall, cabin is good now it’s finished and I am very pleased apart from the floor which is not to the high standard of the rest of the cabin. But you need to be aware, despite an impressive web site and rave reviews, Tuin have poor back up service and broke every promise made. Not good customer service.

Excellent service. Product was delivered on schedule. My wife and I are both 68 years old, and we assembled the log cabin in four days with no real problems. I would recommend Tuindeco to anybody.
