We took delivery of our Annabelle cabin and the driver was very helpful, putting it in the best location to carry it through to the back garden. We followed others advice and spent a little time sorting the planks, which saved us time later on. The build was fairly straightforward and it took a while to get the base square, but once started it was quick. The double door frame took a bit of fettling and once we’d worked out how to adjust it, it was all good. We opted for a different adhesive for the rubber roof which allowed more working time as there was only my husband doing this job. We went with Gori wood treatment, followed by their opaque paint which covered very well. We’re very pleased with the finished cabin and we are in the process of adding electrics and a new laminate floor. We had to go with a 25ml Celotex insulation in place of the 50ml we had purchased, in order to keep the floor height beneath the full length windows and avoid an awkward step at the door. The cabin is very warm so we don’t think the compromise with the insulation is going to be an issue. We have already recommended Tuin to several of our friends and we look forward to using it if summer ever arrives.

After reading loads of information on Tuin website, we decide on the Annabel. The cabin arrived well packed and was delivered to exactly where we wanted. The instructions could have been a bit clearer in places. Tuin were helpful in answering any questions, even out of hours. We started off with a perfectly level and square concrete base. The first issue we had was fixing the composite base and cabin to the base. (I think this needs a video or blog to help). I was recommend by yourselves to use threaded bar and chemical resin. This caused me some major issues when trying to fix, then square things up again. If I was to build again I would probably use angle brackets. The tips on twisted logs were useful. Early advice about treating the inner window and door frames in the instructions would have saved me some time. Think the EPDM roof could have done with another tin of spray as I ran out 3/4 of the way through. I fitted guttering on the back and the EPDM was long enough to flap into the gutter for better run off. I also sourced different uPVC edging to complete the roof. I insulated both the roof and the floor with 50mm insulation board, but found it just a wee bit higher at the door than I would have liked. After getting over these problems the overall build was relatively easy and the results were quite satisfying. The materials are very good quality and I would definitely recommend a Tuin log cabin. It's an excellent addition to our garden, which we have had a lot of use of already. We look forward to many more years of use. Thank you Tuin.

I absolutely love my Annabel cabin which is now my garden studio! I am truly impressed with the quality of the wood; it was easily assembled and of a high standard. The instructions were easy to follow, so my husband says! We have had so many visitors to see the garden studio, all are equally impressed; we let them know about your company, the great service and product! We were also greatly impressed with the delivery of the cabin and the driver who manoeuvred the cabin with incredible ease; it was tightly packed and sealed in what seemed like an impossibly small package - this made transporting sections to the top of garden much easier than we had anticipated. All round, hugely impressed and delighted! Thank you Tuin :)

Good communications from the company. I received an email the week before my original delivery advising of 6-8 week delay. Timely email received to advise the delivery company would be in touch to arrange delivery. Called an hour before delivery by driver. The unloading was simple right onto my drive way.
The cabin was well packed and packaged including a wooden pallet and plastic covering.
I unpacked to transport to the garden ready for assembly. The construction was relatively straight forward. The only observation is that the instructions could be better. There is additional information on line but better drawings and description would assist.
The quality is generally first class. The double door is all I would say let’s it down. Also, there is no adjustment in the hinges to enable the door lock and keeper to be aligned.

From the start Tuin were brilliant to work with. I was kept up to date with updates prior to receiving and the delivery itself the driver was very helpful and for what I thought would be a awkward delivery due to narrow access the driver made ease of it and was brilliant. Installation was fairly straight forward and is a solid cabin and looks great in the garden too. Really happy with my purchase. Thank you very much :)

After searching and reading multiple reviews on log cabins I decided to go with Tuin and the Annabel 5x4 Mtr under 2.5 mtr, liked the look and was big enough to fit my pool table in which is what it was for, I have an understanding wife who said that without my pool table and her Netflix our marriage would not be as strong as it is, anyway ordered in November with a delivery date in March which got put back by a couple of months which was absolutely fine by me as I hadn’t finished the concrete base which was the hardest bit of graft throughout the whole project.
Delivery of the cabin was on time after an email and a call from the haulage company, driver was brilliant and for the cabin as close to the back gate as possible, less struggling with carrying to its final resting place, my brother in law and myself got the cabin up in 1 day and found the instructions perfect, I had watched a lot of videos and read everything on how to put a Tuin cabin together and that really helped on the day.
If there was one bad thing it was the felt that went on the cabin it was really low quality and tore so easily, in fact it was that bad that a few weeks later I ripped it off and replaced it with some other felt, I see that the cabin now comes with the rubber roof so that won’t be an issue for many, just wished I got that extra when ordering but as the wife and I had agreed on the price that was that.
All in all it’s was outstanding service from ordering all the way through to delivery and the product really is in a class of its own, I have friends who have cabins and the difference is instant from the doors, windows and just the quality of wood used. I now have the pool table in and am just waiting to get electric to it for it to be finished.
Would I recommend? Of course in a heartbeat and it should keep the marriage going for many years to come!

From start to finish the team at Tuin are fantastic, we ordered two cabins, a MilaPent cabin (used as a garden shed store) and a larger Annabel Cabin as a garden room / Party place / bar. If you are considering a cabin for your garden I would look no further. Read the reviews and all the blogs there is a lot of very useful information. most important is to get your base level and square, lay your first beams and check again for level and squareness, get this right and your cabin will fly up. Everyone who has been into our garden and cabin is so impressed with the quality ( i should be on commission ). I also have to praise the delivery company as well as the driver who had to negotiate our narrow lane and put down the pallets exactly where we wanted. Thanks again to the whole Tuin Team

I took delivery of my Annabel log cabin just as we went into lockdown. It has not been erected yet until we stop social distancing. I am so excited about getting it put up as I read the reviews before buying and I felt that Tuin was the best firm to go with. Hopefully it won’t be too long now and will leave another review when it is erected. Just to say the delivery was first class as I was worried about it getting into the drive. The folk lift driver put it exactly where I wanted it so it was not in the way of entry.

Wow what a cabin. It went together really well and it was built in a day from ground to roof.
It is such a great space which was bought for my son to use as his sports massage studio.
We bought the deck package to build it on which was is great base and we put in an extra window which the boys said as easy to do.
I cant praise the company highly enough, delivery was on time and put just where we wanted it.
We couldn't have wished for a better cabin.

I spent a long time deliberating on which company to use and I always came back t the Tuin website.
The blurb from Richard with humorous overtones further persuaded me to go with Tuin.
The delivery process was a bit comical as I had ensured a 40 metre car free space in front of my house jealously guarding it for your man only to discover he had parked about 500 metres up the road saying he had to make another delivery right opposite me ( so parking that far away did not make sense at all !) Anyway all good after that and very pleased with the cabin which has been admired by all viewers ; well made and quite simple to put the basics together . The only problem was with the front foundation log which had a gap for the door,( so was not continuous as the other three walls , this needed adjustment ( an add on from the spare log) to fit. Although everything was square it was short about 10 cms. Worked out in the end with a bit of carpentry. Overall very pleased with our decision to go with Tuin. Thanks Tim
As always the extra time is spent in the other details..getting the base sorted ,the levels right ,roofing, guttering etc.

We brought an Annabelle Log Cabin 5m x 4m. Very speedy answers to questions prior to buying, but lots of research needed to choose from all the options. The delivery went well and wood machined well with no alterations. Would advise the cabin is packed with the numbers on the elements to assemble first at the top of the pile not the bottom but it is probably considered re weight of elements so as not to break the glass in the doors etc. The cabin was quick to assemble and slotted together well. The storm kit has held it together despite the hurricane, so advise adding this to your order! Also pleased with the composite foundation beam. Many thanks for your help.

I won't waste your time by going into the various choices on offer from TUIN and other companies, suffice to say I checked them all out and have no regrets whatsoever in opting for TUIN, I found them to be competitively priced, professional, knowledgeable and their customer aftersales is first class. Unfortunately I received several damaged wall logs, purlins and roof boards all damaged in transit and not the fault of TUIN who replaced the damaged items on production of photographic evidence without hesitation.
I wanted a multi purpose structure suitable for a photographic studio, pool room and garden relaxation area, interchangable as and when required. I decided upon the ANNABEL 5mtr x 4mtr in 40mm logs, with pent roof, I purchased an extra row of wall logs as my family are all 6 foot plus in height. Given the space available the ANNABEL turned out to be an excellent choice.
Now for the tips :- I chose to build my cabin on a concrete base, this MUST be flat with 90 degree corners to prevent problems later in the build. diagonal corner to corner measurements must be the same, take heed of future drainage requirements and ensure the concrete base is well above ground level.
I covered the base with a waterproof membrane about 12 inches larger than the base to be held down by stone chippings to aid drainage. I then laid the composite foundation using 3inch stainless steel angle brackets for rigidity on the corners and 4inch flat stainless strips on the 4 joints.
When laying the first row of logs ensure the back bottom log and the two front bottom logs finish the same overall length allowing for the doorway else the four corners will not be square, care at this point will pay dividends later!!
Again at this point note that the door sill is wider than the flat part of the wedge shaped composite foundation strip and unless catered for the sill will be unsupported on the leading outside edge, I inserted a second foundation strip trimmed to fit under the sills leading edge, the sill will then be supported over the entire width and length of door step. Building the structure to roof height is a straight forward procedure providing the structure is kept square.
I found that cutting the corner off both ends of the 5 purlins 1inch up x 2inch along makes the finish cosmetically better and removes visible end grain thus reducing the ingress of water, this action allows the facia boards to be raised up to allow roof boards to be slightly sunk below the facia boards leaving a raised lip to the front and both sides, protecting the EPDM from rubbing on any rough saw cut edge, make sure the back facia is level with the roof boards to allow water run off and sufficient exposed facia below to hold the gutter brackets. I believe extra support is required to the back facia board with the addition of 6- 100mm x 100mm x 40mm noggins screwed through the top wall log some 800mm apart. As with the back, the front facia is designed to be supported by the side facia's only and clearly being over 5mtrs long is questionable as in my opinion to prevent sagging, benefits by being additionally supported by noggins 40mm x 100mm x approx 290mm, some 800mm apart again screwed through the top log.
I then fitted a Permaroof EPDM rubber membrane over the roof boards together with their plastic trim system.
It should be noted that once the door handles are fitted great care should be taken to ensure the door is not allowed to swing back as the handle will smash into the window glass, fit a door stop asap!!!! i'm told a replacement window from Holland is £740.
All in all this was an enjoyable build 95% single handed. If you feel confident, have d.i.y skills, have the tools and the strength, go for it and rest assured that TUIN are available to help if you should encounter a problem.

The whole process from choosing to ordering and delivery has been so easy and straightforward we would definitely recommend Tuin for your log cabin. The video tutorials were excellent and an essential watch also all of the information on the web site around preparation of the site and building of the cabin were invaluable.
We ordered the Annabel to use as an extra room for gatherings and have already planned to hold New Year in there!
The build was very straightforward and enjoyable. It gives a real sense of achievement when it is finished! The quality is exceptional and the finished look once treatment has been added is lovely. We ordered the floor for the cabin and used damp proof membrane to keep the cabin dry and suitable for all weathers.
We are really looking forward to getting many years use from the cabin and the kids have already planned sleepovers in there.

We’ve been looking for a garden room for some time and looked at most of the major suppliers. Tuin stood out as a good balance between quality, price and support information. In fact, it was the wealth of support articles that swung us towards a Tuin cabin in the end.

The order process was extremely smooth and the cabin duly arrived on the date they promised. The driver was extremely accomodating and dropped the cabin exactly where we needed it ready for us to unwrap it. The assembly process was reasonably straight forward, espeially after having watched a number of assembly videos on-line. I’d say the critical stage was to ensure the first few layers of logs are perfectly square as after that it slots together pretty quickly. In fact, my neighbours were amazed that we were up to the roof-line within 2 hours! At the end of day 1 we had a fully assembled cabin (minus the roof covering). The second day was spent putting the Easy roof on. This is the one area where if I was to do it I wouldn’t go for the “Easy roof” option, I’d go for EDPM. The easy roof is extremely difficult to work with and actually comes off the roll with creases in it. No matter how hard we worked to smooth it out you cant (or we couldn’t). It still looks great from a distance and has held up perfectly fine with the heavy showers we’ve had recently, but when it comes to replace it I will go for a EDPM covering.

Overall if youre thinking of going for a Tuin cabin I’d say go for it! They really are superbly manufactured.

This review is for my purchase of the Annabel Log Cabin 5.0 x 4.0m.
Having researched lots of log cabins and their manufactures, Tuin was the clear choice for quality and service.
Living down a 20mph narrow Avenue, I raised my concerns with the delivery company when they phoned to arrange delivery, however they assured me they would be OK on the day. The delivery vehicle parked on the main road and the well packaged log cabin was delivered via Moffett Forklift and gently placed in my drive way.
Having unpacked and placed all the parts in the rear garden, I was amazed at how quick it went up. Doing this on my own, I started just before midday (first few hours was spent treating the lower base logs with multiple coats of Carefree Protectant which is time well spent) and by 5pm that day, I was up to the roof height. Covering the cabin for the night, the next day I installed the roof purling’s and then gave the whole cabin 3 coats of Carefree protectant before the roof boards went on.
Once these were nailed in place, the cabin was rock solid, even without the floating floor installed. The quality of the joints they machine were perfect and following the installation guide was very straight forward for me ( a DIYer). However, I did place the first window in upside down, as didn’t notice the writing on the double glazing, so check this first! I fitted an EPDM rubber roof as the slope/pitch on the roof is minimal but more than suitable for drainage. The EPDM sheet will last for circa 50 years, so I thought it was worth the extra expense as it will keep the cabin sound and dry and save me from ever needing to re-roof the cabin.
This log cabin looks superb and with my height requirements of keeping below 2.5 metres to avoid me needing planning permission (as I’ve placed this close to my boundary), this cabin fits the bill perfectly as it stands 2.47 metres tall on the raised wooden base.
This is a great product and I’m looking forward to many lazy days enjoying the fruits of my labour.

First class product and company! From my first contact with their sales office right through to delivery, everything has gone perfectly. All my technical questions and concerns were very quickly and efficiently answered by friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent delivery service with a very helpful driver. When we unpacked the cabin and began constructing, it far exceeded our expectations. The wood used is of exceptionally high quality and fits together perfectly. I would strongly recommend Tuin to anybody.

Cabin was brilliantly delivered, we were not sure whether to screw the bottom logs to the foundation beams, cabin went up well, stayed very square,.The E.P.D.M. roof cover seems essential, We rolled this round the spare 5m. spar provided & slowly unrolled & stuck It to the roof. We had to go back and fix a spar under the E.P.D.M. at the front and fix guttering at the back to achieve some controlled drain off. This is my reservation with the style of cabin. The cabin has been installed 2weeks &seems sound solid & built to last, & I am very pleased with it as it enhances my property

I am very pleased with the quality of our Tuin log cabin. The Tuin recommended builders came and had the main structure up within 2 days. We also had a timber base (which we organised ourselves). The cabin is now being painted and, although not yet finished, it looks really good. I am very pleased with Tuin quality and the assistance the team gave when purchasing and in after sales advice and support. I always felt confident that the final product would be a quality one, well in line with European standards, and the indications are that my expectations will be fully realised.

I purchased after a lot of shopping around an Annabel cabin from Tuin, it arrived safely on time and was very well packed. This is my first cabin so was not looking forward to the build but was amazed after my dad and I put the cabin up in two day, like any build of this size there were a few head scratching moments but overall an easy build. I was impressed with the quality of the cabin and how well it was designed. highly recommend the cabins Tewin sell and their customer service is great.

Good quality log cabin, very easy to assemble. Two inexperienced men put this together in about three and a half hours. The doors needed some playing around with and they're still not closing properly but I'll come back to that after I've fibreglassed the roof.
I've added some 2 x 2s and firrings to the roof space to allow for lighting cables and insulation and the fibreglass is my preferred waterproofing method for the top.
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and if you can find a better cabin for the same price I'd be very surprised.
I would recommend Tuin and the delivery driver was extremely helpful which is always a bonus.

Having chosen the Annabel log cabin as a modern style garden building l was very happy with the order, and especially a very helpful delivery driver. The build of the cabin frame was straight forward and competed quickly however the fall from front to rear did not allow good drainage across the roof and the 5m width has led to a large amount of surface water retention in the middle of the roof. A layer of under felt should be included and l myself am up to layer 3 to try and prevent water ingress in the centre of the roof where the rain settles without draining to the rear of the cabin. I have not assembled the floor as the roof is not dependable to be water tight but so far the building looks great and has impressed neighbours. I am still waiting to hear about a distorted door replacement to complete the build and finish the outside colour treatment so we can use and enjoy what will hopefully be a great addition to our garden space.

Overall, we are very pleased with the Annabel log cabin. There were some glitches with some parts of the delivery. For example, part of the EPDM roofing was damaged but credit where it was due, Tuin arranged for replacement parts which were promptly delivered the next day. Special mention should go to Philip (one of Tuin's approved installers) and Roger who were very professional and did a superb job in building our log cabin. We are very pleased with the quality and look of the cabin and would have no hesitation in recommending Tuin to other customers who are thinking about buying a log cabin.
