The fence is is clipped together(not nailed). Saying that it is quite robust and attractive in design. It has an alternating design which does mean at acute angles you can see through the fence. Therefore privacy isn't 100% but this does allow climbing plants to weave through negating the need for trellis. Attractive solid wood fence for ship-lap prices!
