Ideal for housing alternatives or for a remote holiday home- Please note that planning permission and/or building regulations approval will be required for these cabins, especially for residential use. All our Cabins are designed for self-assembly, including all the fixings. However with these larger scale buildings we do recommend considering a professional installer, as these plans are much more complex than our standard cabins. Worry not, we have our own list of Independent Installers/Fitters as well as our own Installation service

Delivery of your Residential Log Cabin
Our residential log cabins come in prepalletise kits and will arrive via an articulated vehicle with a demountable, self powered forklift to move the packages. Delivery will be curbside which usually means a driveway or a side path to your garden, you don’t have to be there for delivery. Please contact us if there are any limitations regarding size of your unloading area and access.
Once your delivery has been made, please check your cabin packages to ensure all items have arrived securely and without damage. Please note that most of our Residential Log Cabins will be supplied in multiple packages.
Log Cabin Bases
One of the most important parts of the build installation is a log cabin base. To ensure our Residential Log Cabins have the long life span as intended, a flat and level base is required for any building.
A base can be pretty much made out of anything: concrete, timber, paving stones. But, any base provided for any log cabin has to follow this criteria:
- Consideration should be given to the majority of the weight being placed on the perimeter of the cabin.
- Consideration should be given to the weight of the cabin, our Residential Log Cabins are between 58mm and 70mm thick, meaning a much heavier cabin.
- It should be 100% level in every direction, this part is the most important.
- The base should cover to just over the footprint size of the cabin.

Insulating your Residential Log Cabin
For all year round use, insulating your cabin is essential for enjoying residential use. Insulation will help your cabin stay warmer in the winter, and cooler during the summer heatwaves. Essential for keeping heating and electric costs lower in your cabin.
While we don’t sell pre-insulated cabins, we do sell Cabin Insulation Packs. These kits will give you all the supplies needed for insulating both your cabin's floor and roof.
PVC Doors and Windows For Residential Log Cabins.
Alongside the superior log thickness and insulation pair, there is also the option of choosing PVC windows and doors for your Residential Log Cabin. PVC Windows and Doors are a hardwearing and virtually maintenance free alternative to standard glass windows and doors.
Alongside the easy maintenance, PVC doors and windows are constructed using two panels of glass with a vacuum seal. Reducing the amount of heat that can pass through the gap and increasing its thermal efficiency. These should be taken into consideration when planning your ultimate Residential Log Cabin.

The Dunmore Clockhouse Log Cabin is constructed using 70mm wall logs and double glazed windows and doors. The feature above the double doors is a clocktower, this can be added or left off as required.
Measuring at 8.2m x 5.2m, the Dunmore Clockhouse lends itself to a variety of uses: The ultimate man cave, home gym or an extra bedroom. Complete the cabin with roof and floor insulation to stay cosy in the winter.
One of our larger log cabins, made from 70mm thick logs the Kay measures 5.95m x 8.0m. It features four internal rooms with a small veranda area to the front.
Suitable for a variety of uses, especially when insulation is applied to the roof and floor as we recommend. Available as an option are UPVC doors and windows
With 70mm triple tongue and groove logs and double glazing, the Ballyragget Log Cabin can be used all year round. Measuring 5.95 x 8.0m, to the front is a 1.4m canopy.
The large open plan interior could even be used as accommodation for guests, or as a spacious home office.
Camp in style or enjoy a cosy office with our barrel log cabin. Made from 42mm and 28mm spruce with double glazing. Two separate rooms with a front porch.
The log cabin barrel measures 215cm in diameter with a length of 330cm.
A substantial log cabin, the Ollie 70mm multi room cabin with three internal rooms. Overall the Ollie measures 7.31 x 4.98m. Insulation applied to the 27mm roof and floor will create an extremely warm space.

A multi room cabin made with 44mm thick logs to give you a fair compromise in heat capacity and price. The Malaga Log Cabin consists of five rooms, ideal or extra accommodation or an established garden office.

The Fuerteventura 70mm double glazed Log Cabin is designed with our Azores Log Cabin as inspiration. Made from 70mm thick logs the Fuerteventura measures 9.41 x 8.48m.
Made up of five distinct rooms with a canopy/veranda area, the Fuerteventura shows potential uses for both accommodation and commercial uses.
The 70mm double glazed Mallorca Log Cabin is a variation on the design of the popular Edelweiss Log Cabin. The Mallorca has three rooms on the lower floor with a single full width room in the loft. Overall the Log Cabin measures 5.10 x 7.00m.
With the addition of insulation in the roof and floor the Mallorca makes for an extremely cozy space and lends itself to a variety of uses.
