How free delivery works
We give you free delivery worth approx. £300 when you buy a log cabin, summer house, sauna, shepherd hut, hot tub or gazebo so long as you live in Zone 1 in the picture below.
We have to add freight on for zones 2, 3, 4 & 5. Charges for anyone not in zone 1 is as follows:
Zone 2: £80 (pink)
Zone 3: £98 (blue)
Zone 4: £138 (white)
Zone 5: £238 (orange)
London: £60 (yellow)
We will never get you to unload the cabin yourself
When you purchase a log cabin, summer house, sauna, shepherd hut, hot tub or gazebo from Tuin, we do not expect you to offload the goods from the lorry yourself unlike a lot of our competitors. We will use an articulated lorry with a forklift. This specialized forklift can safely transport packages away from the main lorry and drop either onto your drive or onto the street. You do not even need to be present, we will handle the offloading and drop for you. If you are getting a number of quotes from different suppliers, please do ask them how they will unload the goods.
Some constraints
We can only deliver to the UK mainland, however we can drop goods off at a port of your choice so you can arrange onward transport to yourself.
Delivery times
If you need a log cabin, summer house, sauna, shepherd hut, hot tub or gazebo urgently, delivery is usually 2-3 weeks. You can choose a delivery period from 1-6 weeks when you place your order.
Should you need it later, we can offer to hold your garden building for a maximum of 3 weeks . The first week is free, and the second and third weeks are charged at £36.00 per week. We recommend talking with the customer service team over the phone if you want us to hold your garden building. Any request to delay must be made before a specific delivery day is assigned and, in any event, no later than 4pm on the Thursday preceding the scheduled delivery week.
If you cannot take your building at the end of the third week, we will cancel the order automatically.
Deliveries to Scotland
In some instances, when selecting a delivery to Scotland, we may have to reschedule your selected delivery week. This is due to current logistical limitations. We will do our best to ensure minimal impact on your delivery and, if a reschedule is needed, we will contact you as soon in advance as possible.
Delivery of sheds, pergolas and smaller items
We do not offer free delivery on our timber, fence panels, concrete etc, unless you order them with a large product such as a log cabin or gazebo.
Most smaller items that we keep in stock are delivered within 3 - 5 working days. Delivery is usually 14 – 21 days If we do not keep them in stock.

How will Tuin deliver a big item like a log cabin or hot tub to me?
For our big items such as a log cabin, summer house, sauna, shepherd hut, hot tub or gazebo we work with ESJ Walpole a Norfolk haulier with over 50 years experience.
On the week before delivery (usually a Thursday or Friday) you will get a call from the Walpole team letting you know they have received your order.
Your lorry will have around 15-20 big bulky items on board and they plot the most fuel efficient journey possible for all the deliveries they have.
Walpole will advise the day they want to deliver the following week (as well as an approximate morning or afternoon). If you cannot make that day, we can halt the delivery for one week, but you must take it the following week.
How it's delivered
We use 40 tonne, 18 metre long curtain-sided articulated lorries for deliveries, which are made to the kerbside only.
Moffett Forklift Assistance
The lorries are equipped with a road-legal Moffett forklift. If the lorry can be safely parked within 1 mile of your delivery address, the driver may complete the journey using the forklift. Please note that the forklift can only operate on hard, level surfaces.
For the Moffett forklift to enter your property, the following conditions must be met:
Gate width: Minimum 4 metres with no height restrictions
Surface: Flat and level
The forklift cannot travel on rough, unmade roads or areas with low-hanging trees
The forklift cannot lift items over obstructions like hedges or fences
The Moffett forklift is not a crane and has limitations in manoeuvring around obstacles.
Your authorisation is also required.
Kerbside Delivery Note
Kerbside delivery is guaranteed.
Drivers may assist by entering your property with the forklift and placing items where needed. This is at the driver’s discretion and only if it is sensible, possible, and safe.
Drivers are insured up to the kerbside. Entry onto private property is at the recipient’s risk, so kerbside delivery may still be required in some cases.

Delivery times are guidelines
We strive to meet stated delivery times, but once on the road a delay can occur due to circumstances beyond our control. We’ll keep you updated if there are any changes, but please note that delivery times are only guidelines. If timing is critical for your order, we recommend contacting us first to discuss your requirements.
Timber Deliveries
Depending on the size of your order, we’ll choose the most suitable delivery method. Smaller orders can often be sent with a cost-friendly courier, while larger or bulkier orders will require delivery by our larger hauliers—the same ones we use for log cabins.
If you prefer not to pay for delivery, you can use our Click and Collect option, which is available on all timber pages. Pick up will be from Brooke in Norfolk. Please note that delivery charges vary depending on your location and the delivery method, with different prices for each UK zone.
Paid Delivery Service
For those needing more flexibility, we also offer a paid delivery service within Zone 1. This option allows you to choose a preferred delivery day and time that suits your schedule. It’s often faster and tailored to meet specific needs.
Requesting a precise delivery day for large items may cost £800 or more due to the logistics involved.
Alternatively, you can arrange to collect your order directly from our depot in Norfolk.
