All Tuin log cabins arrive untreated as standard. It is therefore esssential to treat your building as soon as possible.
Impregnation fluid can used on the inside of a log cabin and will inhibit the formation of damp spores. This is especially important when you have hot tubs, freezers, fridges etc or when the cabin is shut up for long periods of time without ventilation.
Impregnation Fluid is a preservative for the treatment of wood against wood-destroying fungi, algae and mosses, it can be used above and below ground. It is applied with a large brush and goes on like water, applied liberally to soak into and penetrate the wood. (always carry out a test first on scrap timber)
The impregnation fluid has a coverage of 8 m.sq per ONE litre.
Warnings:
To be used only by adults.
In case of skin contact wash immediatly with soap and water.
Can not be washed out of textiles.
Environmentally hazardous liquid, residues must be disposed of as chemical waste.
Do not swallow the liquid, nor allow surface water or sewage to be exposed to it.
Active substance: Propiconazola.
Be aware it can produce some fumes during application.
Please be aware that all buildings will require further treatment either by staining or painting, this is a rot proof treatment not a weatherproof treatment. Either water or spirit based stains paints can be applied after rot proof treatment.
