This concrete base has a luxurious look and is beautifully finished. This straight concrete base has the advantage that it is easy to level and is often used under the walls of a canopy so that the concrete band fits nicely tight, this is not possible with a bevelled model.

Installing a concrete foundation

Place the posts 100% square for a sturdy construction. The matching plate made of galvanized steel or stainless steel (can be ordered separately) has a size of 10 x 10 cm and has a screw hole of 1.5 cm suitable for an m16 threaded rod of 7.8 cm which is also included. The height adjustment plate also has 4 holes in the corners with a size of 1 cm. This complete concrete base set is the perfect solution and is much better suited than, for example, an iron post base. Always provide diagonal braces in your timber construction project. Because the plate is 100 x 100 mm, we recommend choosing uprights of at least 11.5 cm thick and maximum 15 cm thick posts.
