Pent Roofing Options:
We offer three different types of roofing for the pent log cabins.
EPDM ( Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer ) Rubber roofing which is the best option, Supplied in a single sheet with no natural overlaps ( weak spots ), We supply two types of adhesive with the rubber roofing, A spray glue for the majority of the surface area and also a tube for a fill gun for around the edges. A good extra to consider with the EPDM are the metal modern roofing trims although you can achieve the same result with timber versions instead. EPDM has a lifespan of 20+ years
Easy Roofing ( High Performance Polyester Base ) which is the second best option to consider, These arrive in rolls that are 5x1m a piece in sufficant volume for this log cabin. The Easy roofing is supplied with a self-adhesive backing meaning no extra glue is required. This roofing option like the EPDM can be finished off nicely with metal or timber roofing trims. Easy roofing has a life span of 15+ years
Felt Roofing Kit, Standard rolls of roofing felt like what you will have seen on sheds in most UK gardens. supplied with clout nails and felt glue for the overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of 2 - 3 years and will need replacing over time.
Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option, Not a problem as you can select to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

Our family have bought two James and one Lory over the last few years, all of which have been superb in every way. On the strength of this, I recommended one of the same to my brother. He chose a Lory. We recently completed the build and I was horrified by the differences between it and the Lory we had previously built. The windows at the front which are stated online to be fixed and show in the photo to be (and are in our version) very large panes turned out to be inward opening and much smaller. The side windows are also much smaller than pictured and also inward opening with fiddly and awkward catches. The wood beams supporting the roof are much less substantial than previously and the wood blocks that fitted to the side walls to help firm up the roof surrounds are no longer supplied. The wood that forms these surrounds is now a flimsy prefabricated unit, backed by ugly looking MDF sheet, prone to bending due to being poorly secured at the sides. There were no long screws to fix the roof beams to the walls, and no screws to fix the walls to the foundation beams. In fact, no screws at all. The ceiling wood no longer has the V shaped internal face that was so pleasing to the eye. There were no dowels to stiffen the smaller sections of logs. None of the wood pieces was numbered, unlike with our previous cabins, which would have been a problem had we not remembered what went where.. Altogether, the Lory seems a much reduced and less attractive cabin; yet the photo and specifications are as they have always been. However, they no longer reflect the reality at all! I was hugely embarrassed at having to explain to my brother why his Lory is simply not up to the standard of ours - especially in terms of light penetration from the previously vast window area. It seems so unnecessary to have changed anything about the Lory, which was such a superb cabin. Its still good, but nothing like as good as the earlier version.
Excellent service from Tuin and the install team who did a fantastic job of installing our Lory log cabin. We used the turnkey service which was brilliant and would highly recommended the company
