The Asmund Log Cabin features the same distinctive roof as the Ingrid, Daniel and Markus, yet benefits from double doors and a larger internal space. A great alternative to the traditional panelled summerhouse, the log construction adds a touch of Scandinavia to any outdoor space.

The Asmund is constructed using individual 28mm interlocking logs - a spruce variety, the timber is sourced from the forests of Sweden and chosen specifically for its tight, dense wood grain.

All Tuin log cabins arrive untreated as standard. Some images depicts how attractive a log cabin looks when it has been painted - a look that can be achieved relatively easily! Tuin offers a great range of options for treating your building including paints, stains and impregnation fluid.

Please note, this cabin is supplied untreated, we recommend that the building is treated with high quality paints and treatments. They should be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommendation. We also offer our own treatments:

  • Embalan Paint (3 2.5l tins)
  • Impregnation Fluid (2 2.5l tins)

FREE roof Shingles: As a standard building you can select either roofing felt or FREE shingles. We cannot guarantee which colour or shape will be sent. We will always let you know the colour and style following your order. It is rarely possible to change those offered as it is dependent on our stocks.

Free shingles for this Asmund 28mm Corner Log Cabin are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last year's stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not be 'as new'.

Standard Roof Shingles: These are from our standard catalogue range and are available in various colours and styles.

We highly recommend shingles with your log cabin: The final finish is far more superior and turns a shed into a stunning log cabin. Ordinary felt will last two - three years. Shingles will last for at least 15 years and it is unlikely you will ever need to replace them.

Roofing - Optional Shingles
Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.

Excellent customer service from order to delivery. After the usual amount of fastidious research, I settled on a Tuin corner cabin as the best value for money offering on the market. The reviews spoke highly of the co. and the products and have been borne out by both the level of service received and the cabin now taking pride of place in our garden. We managed to get it up in a day and whilst I won't be sad to see the back of the shingles, it was relatively straightforward to construct and looks as if it has been made to last. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the co. or the corner cabins!

We are really pleased with the Asmund summerhouse. The shingles are a real feature - it makes the cabin look more expensive than it was, and adds a touch of character.
The quality of the hinges and door furniture is better than I expected, and everything seems very solid and well made.
