All kits are included with pictorial instructions, alongside our very detailed Installation Guide and Summerhouse Advice. These pages will cover all areas of your garden summerhouse installation.
Our summerhouses come in prepalletise kits and will arrive via an articulated vehicle with a demountable, self powered forklift to move the packages. Delivery will be curbside which usually means a driveway or a side path to your garden, you don’t have to be there for delivery. Please contact us if there are any limitations regarding size of your unloading area and access.
Once your delivery has been made, please check your cabin package to ensure all items have arrived securely and without damage.
One of the most important parts of the build installation is a well done base. To ensure our Summerhouses have the long life span as intended a flat and level base is required for any building.
A base can be pretty much made out of anything: concrete, timber, paving stones. But, any base provided for any summerhouse has to follow this criteria:
For more details, please read Base Requirements.
For all year round use, insulating your summerhouse is important to consider. Insulation will help your cabin stay warmer in the winter, and cooler during the summer heatwaves. Essential for keeping heating and electric costs lower in your cabin.
While we don’t sell pre-insulated kits, we do sell Insulation Packs. These kits will give you all the supplies needed for insulating both your floor and roof.
Our Summerhouses provide the ultimate relaxing space for leisurely activities throughout the year.
Our garden summerhouses make for a great space to relax in any UK Garden. Not only that, but their presence really stands out and completes the look of plenty of gardenscapes, which you can decorate to really make your own.
Summerhouses provide an excellent storage solution for your home and a good answer to reorganising and providing extra space. Not only can they be used to home outdoor and garden items, but become an extension of your indoor spaces, whether that be for leisure, or a separate space for work.
Our summerhouses can have a variety of purposes for a UK Garden. The thickness of the logs give an indication of their appropriate usage. Please see examples below:
28mm Thick Logs - These are a great all-rounder and lend themselves to a perfect Summerhouse for occasional use. However, with modifications they can be perfect for all year around use. Generally though, we would recommend you opt for a thicker log for more thermal capacity for all year around use.
34 - 45mm Thick Logs - More appropriate for annual usage. This range is a good balance between heat costs and budget costs of the actual building. Regardless, you will need to add insulation to the roof along with the floor for optimal year-round use.
At Tuin, we always try our best to sell our garden summerhouses and other garden buildings at the most affordable prices. You will easily find a range of our products on offer or discount during any period, as well as seasonal sales we have on occasion.
We do NOT take any payment until the week before your chosen week of delivery.
