The 40mm double glazed Sadie Log Cabin, measuring at 5m x 3m this cabin has been designed with UK gardens in mind. With a stylish pent roof, this Log Cabin is also under 2.5m in height

Great for use as a garden office, summerhouse, garden pub and much more. Pair with roof and floor insulation for a cabin you can use all year around and stay cosy in the colder months.

The Sadie log cabin is designed to be a light and airy building. Featuring double doors and two opening windows which allows the light to stream in while leaving three walls solid so you can put desks, sofas or other items against them making a very practical building. The door can be placed on either the right or left of the twin window bank, as the Sadie Log Cabin can be installed as a mirror image. The glazing bars creating the Georgian effect can be fitted or left off for a more contemporary look.

This log cabin is manufactured using quality 40mm Spruce logs. All timber used is specially selected for the interlocking construction and must comply with high Dutch standards. These standards ensure there is no mixture of timbers in the wall logs like pine and spruce. Supplied untreated, the Sadie can be customised to match the unique style of each garden. Tuin offers a great range of treatment options including stains, paints and impregnation fluid.

Supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years.

We also recommend insulating your Log Cabin after treating your cabin.

Please note, using a Drainage Outlet for EPDM roofs is highly recommended.

Pent Roofing Options:

We offer three different types of roofing for the pent log cabins.

  • EPDM ( Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer ) Rubber roofing which is the best option, Supplied in a single sheet with no natural overlaps ( weak spots ), We supply two types of adhesive with the rubber roofing, A spray glue for the majority of the surface area and also a tube for a fill gun for around the edges. A good extra to consider with the EPDM are the metal modern roofing trims although you can achieve the same result with timber versions instead. EPDM has a lifespan of 20+ years
  • Easy Roofing ( High Performance Polyester Base ) which is the second best option to consider, These arrive in rolls that are 5x1m a piece in sufficant volume for this log cabin. The Easy roofing is supplied with a self-adhesive backing meaning no extra glue is required. This roofing option like the EPDM can be finished off nicely with metal or timber roofing trims. Easy roofing has a life span of 15+ years
  • Felt Roofing Kit, Standard rolls of roofing felt like what you will have seen on sheds in most UK gardens. supplied with clout nails and felt glue for the overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of 2 - 3 years and will need replacing over time.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option, Not a problem as you can select to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

Delighted with the Sadie cabin! Started well with a trouble free delivery ( despite a difficult access route) thanks to an excellent driver with his brilliant forklift! Packaging design is impressive in itself - amazing how the space was utilised with almost no wasted space.

Thoroughly enjoyed the build process (once the hard work of creating a solid base was done!). The instructions are clear if you know how to read drawings and the quality of the logs /accuracy of their machine meant everything just fitted easily and the build reminded me of a great big Lego set!

Everything feels very solid, although I couldn’t resist a belts and braces approach of popping stainless steel screws into all the corner joints as I built the layers, instead of fitting a visible storm kit.

I went for EDPM roof which was straightforward to apply and certainly feels like it’ll last a long time. Bought some extra timber locally to shape the roof edges and double the depth of the facia.

Some final tidy up still to do with the base, but the pics show the nearly finished product!

Tuin amazing
We live right up on the west coast of the highlands so needed something very strong and substantial to live up to the strong wind and other weather here.
From ordering to delivery everything was spot on. The ordering process was easy and we felt very informed. The delivery was amazing as we live on a hill with a steep drive we anticipated having to handball all the cabin up the drive but when the driver arrived he took control and used his forktruck device to easily bring it to exactly where it was needed.
Our mistake was not building a concrete base for it and just using our level hardcore. It isnt quite level or square so this gave us problems and im sure as i read it will do in the future too. Our fault and i just wish we have invested in the base.

We bought a sadie cabin from tuin following a recommendation from a friend who bought a small cabin to house garden furniture. We were looking for a space for my teenaged/adult children to socialise and wanted a space big enough for a seated table area and a comfy sofa space.
We are not DIY enthusiasts and have no experience of building anything other than a B&Q shed which fell apart and rotted where we hadn't quite got it right so this purchase was daunting. We watched you tube after you tube video and all the ones on the TUIN website as well as reading all the blogs on Tuin before we went for it. The base was done for us by another company and was nicely level but even so, laying the composit beams, cutting them to size and making sure all was square was stressful and probably the more difficult part of the build. Once done, the cabin was like a lego pack and went up very quickly. Important to stop and check every few layers that you're still square at the corners as the cabin still moves as you work on it but we did that ok. We chose to insulate our roof so after the roof boards were nailed in, we secured battons over the top and inserted PIR boards covered with Ply. This means raising the facia board which looked terrible with only one board. We chose to abandon a board at the back of the cabin and use it to attach to the front one so that we had a two board width of facia to play with. It worked well. We then fitted the EPDM roofing which was MUCH easier than we had expected. Its a nice heavy material so doesn't flap about, sits where you put it and is nice and flexible. As a whole sheet though for this size its VERY heavy and needs a few of you to pull it into place. Finally we also insulated the floor before adding the boards we bought with the cabin from Tuin.
IN terms of difficulty, the instructions could be much better-bit more in line with lego instructions or IKEA so there was some confusion over which nails or screws went where etc, also the fitting of the doors was hard as there were limited instructions for novices on how to adjust the hinges and get a good fit. That said, when we ran into those problems we emailed the help desk and no matter what day or time, someone responded within 20 minutes which is EXCELLENT customer service- really never experiences such quick assistance anywhere else. This meant that we could get help throughout and solve issues where instructions didn't make sense to us. We now have a warm, beautiful cabin which all of us are enjoying as a purpose built social space. We are all really pleased with it. It has tamped down with rain already and we've had no issues with ingress of water (we have fitted a gutter to the rear to collect rain water or it really will pour like a water fall and splashes up the back of the cabin). It was an expensive treat to buy the cabin but well worth it so far. It's been completed for a few weeks now, fully treated with recommended stain/protection so I hope that it will last many years.

Everything think about our order was perfect from the delivery to the actual cabin itself
The delivery driver rang us before he arrived to make sure there was enough space for his very large lorry and was friendly and put it just where we wanted on our driveway
I didn’t really know what to expect for quality of wood but I have to say it’s fantastic
I will order was originally for 8 to 9 weeks waiting list but we received it after around six which was a great bonus
Erecting the Sadie cabin was surprisingly simple and between two people we had it complete in two days
It is very solid great to look at and has now become our garden bar look forward to welcoming many friends when we are allowed
Thank you Tuin dealing with you has been a pleasure

Bought the Sadie log cabin which was delivered on the day stated and placed as near as possible to site by delivery driver. Myself and a friend unwrapped and carried to site within an hour and checked and placed ready for build next day, Erected fully the next day once we checked composite base for level and Squareness and following instructions from blogs etc. fitted the Rubber sheet roof covering the next day. Found the product to be sturdy and well manufactured. it was a week later before we had some heavy rain to test weatherproofing. We had some water ingress on top of windows where I feel there should be some sort of weather bar supplied- I contacted Tuin to explain my findings and the promptly offered to send us a weather bar but I had already made one up and fitted which has corrected the Fault. Apart from that small fault I find the Tuin Cabin to be an excellent product at a fair price.
