Our products in your garden
Yorick Garden Office 5 x 3.8m
Create a functional space in your garden
Although our Yorick log cabin is designed to be used as a home office or studio, it’s also the perfect size for other uses such as a garden lounge, garden pub, or even a home gym. Adding floor and roof insulation to this log cabin will enable you to use it throughout the year and stay warm, however you decide to use it. Whether you want a quiet, bright space to work or a space that enables you to relax after a long day, this log cabin is not only functional, but it will also provide a modern feature to your garden too.
The fully glazed double doors and two panoramic windows mean this log cabin is flooded with light, providing you with a comfortable living or working space away from your home. Ideal if you run your own business from home or need somewhere to work from home away from the distractions of the house.
This log cabin is built from 45mm slow grown Spruce logs, a variety chosen for its strength and durability so you can be reassured that your garden building will stand the test of time.
The Yorick is an untreated log cabin that will require treatment after installation and can be customised to complement your garden’s style. Choose a stain for a more traditional garden or paint your cabin in bright colours if you want to create a standout garden feature.
All our log cabins come with a 10-year warranty provided that you regularly treat the wood so you know your investment will be protected over the long-term.
Pent roofing options
We offer three different types of roofing for our pent log cabins, each with their own pros and cons. The roofing material you choose will have an impact on how well your log cabin is protected from the elements and how much ongoing maintenance is required.
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer): A rubberised roof covering that we recommend for your pent roof log cabin. This material is supplied in a single sheet with no natural overlaps (weak spots) which ensures your log cabin roof is protected. EPDM has a lifespan of over 20 years, so it provides a long-term solution, keeps your log cabin protected from moisture and means you have less ongoing maintenance on your log cabin throughout its lifetime.
Easy Roofing Membrane (High Performance Polyester Base): This material is an easy to fit option as no screws or glue is required. The easy roofing is supplied with self-adhesive backing and can be finished with metal or timber roofing trims. Easy Roofing Membrane has a lifespan of over 15 years, so is another long-term solution that will keep your log cabin protected.
Felt Roofing Kit: This is the traditional material you find on sheds in most UK gardens. The kit is supplied with clout nails and felt glue for overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of 2-3 years and will need replacing over time, so your log cabin continues to be protected.
Key features
The perfect office or studio space: This log cabin is designed to help you create the perfect office or studio space, but its flexibility means you can use it to build the perfect space to suit your needs. Whether that’s working, relaxing or entertaining friends and family.
Double glazing: The double glazed doors and window provide added insulation for your log cabin, making it a comfortable space to use in a range of weather conditions.
Panoramic windows: The panoramic windows, two of which are opening, provide additional light and a connection to your garden so you can enjoy it, even in the unpredictable British weather!
Pent roof: The modern roof design creates a feature in your garden and ensures your log cabin doesn’t feel too imposing.
Untreated natural finish: Requires treatment after installation and can be finished in your choice of stain, oil or paint to suit your garden style.
Easy self-assembly: Delivered as a complete DIY kit with full instructions for straightforward assembly.

Excellent product and great company to do business with. The company is very DIY friendly. I assembled the Yorick myself and to be honest I'm no DIY expert. If you can put up a shelf level then I think you have what is needed to assemble you own Yorick. I did get someone to lay the concrete base as I'm an old git and did not fancy that job. Also I got electrics done professionally. Yorick has been up 2 or 3 years now, gets used regularly, has no issues to report and looks great. If you do the odd DIY job at home you will be able to assemble one of Tuin kits just take a little time and study the instructions and videos on YouTube. Only thing I would consider maybe doing differently is think about having the timbers dipped by Tuin before delivery. Each timber should be coated in a wood preserve before assembly and I did that by hand that was a long and tedious job, but worth it.
Very happy with the product and service. I was kept well informed of the delivery arrangements, the delivery itself was difficult for the driver, but he soldiered on and placed the pallet successfully. The kit was complete and well labelled, and instructions were clear and helpful, although Ive put several cabins together before. Finally the quality is excellent - I had a sloping site to work with so a few challenges and Im no professional, but it went together very well. I had a few queries with the roof which were answered promptly by Tuin. A couple of handles broke, but were replaced very quickly. Im still working on the front step / decking so wont send any photos yet. To summarise, excellent service, quality, and value for money. No hesitation in using again and recommending. Well done.
