A contemporary flat roof model in 28mm logs, the Maja Log Cabin features a double door and side canopy of 3.20m. The cabin itself is 3.2 x 2.4m, the canopy can be placed either left or right of the cabin as required. The balustrade feature shown is included with the main building. Overall the building is 6.60 x 2.40m

Unlike a traditional wooden garden shed, the Maja modern log cabin is constructed using individual interlocking Spruce logs. This model is available in a 28mm log thickness and is free from finger jointing and timber mixing - all signs of a first rate garden building! All Tuin log cabins are supplied untreated are standard.

Supplied with EPDM and adhesive, a high quality and durable roofing material that will last for up to 20 years.

Please note, using a Drainage Outlet for EPDM roofs is highly recommended.

Please note, this cabin is supplied untreated, we recommend that the building is treated with high quality paints and treatments. They should be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommendation. We also offer our own treatments:

  • Embalan Paint (5 2.5l tins)
  • Impregnation Fluid (3 2.5l tins)

Pent Roofing Options:

We offer three different types of roofing for the pent log cabins.

  • EPDM ( Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer ) Rubber roofing which is the best option, Supplied in a single sheet with no natural overlaps ( weak spots ), We supply two types of adhesive with the rubber roofing, A spray glue for the majority of the surface area and also a tube for a fill gun for around the edges. A good extra to consider with the EPDM are the metal modern roofing trims although you can achieve the same result with timber versions instead. EPDM has a lifespan of 20+ years
  • Easy Roofing ( High Performance Polyester Base ) which is the second best option to consider, These arrive in rolls that are 5x1m a piece in sufficant volume for this log cabin. The Easy roofing is supplied with a self-adhesive backing meaning no extra glue is required. This roofing option like the EPDM can be finished off nicely with metal or timber roofing trims. Easy roofing has a life span of 15+ years
  • Felt Roofing Kit, Standard rolls of roofing felt like what you will have seen on sheds in most UK gardens. supplied with clout nails and felt glue for the overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of 2 - 3 years and will need replacing over time.

Or you may prefer to use your own roofing option, Not a problem as you can select to purchase this cabin without any roofing atall at a reduced rate under the options tab above.

Pent Roofing Material Supplied as standard with high grade EPDM rubber roofing, This single sheet of rubber spans the entire roof with no overlaps. Other roofing options can also be chosen.
Spruce T&G Flooring Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.

This cabin is superb. Excellent service when delivered, truck could not get near my house so fantastic driver fork lifted it to us. The logs are fantastic quality and so well engineered, went together like a dream. We had an issue with a warped perlin on a Sunday but amazingly there was an on call carpenter whose excellent advice solved our problem. We chose composite foundations which were easy to shape and the spruce floor is beautiful. The only part of this project that was slightly frustrating was the lack of detail in the instructions but with my son we managed to work it out. This is a superb quality item at an excellent price and looks fantastic in our garden. Dank U wel tuin!

Awesome cabin. Self built taken a couple of days but reversed the cabin side. Drawings and instructions are limited and not great but bit of common sense you can work it out. And knew team at Tuin where there if needed.

The cabin it's self is fantastic and so good value. Some competion wanted so much more and was no wear near quality this is.

Couple of friends looking to buy having seen ours.

Awesome Cabin bought from an awesome company. One of the logs was cracked badly and they sent it on next day delivery without arguing.

The cabin is beautiful and was extremely easy to build. It is of a very good quality. The easy roofing is great quality and looks great and was really easy to fix.

Thank you for our great cabin! I would just like to say how amazing it looks but how brilliant Phillip Robinson was building it - really friendly and helpful bloke who couldn't do enough - worked over 12 hours to get it all done in one day and it looks brilliant. He also had lots of info about treatments etc.
