The Economist Wooden Gazebo measuring 3.4 x 3.4m. Great for any garden to shelter from the sun and to create a focal point.
The Economist is one of the smaller square gazebos within the Tuin range. Both practical and stylish, this gazebo doubles up as an outdoor seating area and garden focal point. Traditionally designed to offer shelter and shade, the open sides make this gazebo perfect for covering a hot tub or spa.
The same size as the Tourist, the main difference between the two models is the thickness of the four supporting corner posts. The slightly slimmer posts of the Economist create the illusion of a taller opening height.
Characterised by a striking pyramid roof and supported by a unique roof construction, each gazebo is supplied with standard roofing felt. Coloured felt shingles are available in a choice of colours.
FREE ROOF SHINGLES are available with this gazebo. colours and styles available will vary.
Please note that there are no bolts/fixings with these post holders - They will need to be sourced separately.
Adding Guttering to your gazebo will provide several benefits, It will help prevent water runoff from dropping unevenly around the edges of the roof, Saving you getting wet as you exit and enter the structure. It will also allow you to direct the water to set points such as a underground drainage system or water butt.
A Metal Roof Finial is useful as it creates a much neater/cleaner finish at the very peak of the roof, You can choose to have the final with or without a brass ball.
Many customers will also choose timber from our vast range of wood to add closed walls to further enhance the Economist Wooden Gazebo. We offer a range of different cladding options which can be purchased alongside the gazebo.
Most prefer either shiplap of featherboarding like the examples below. When adding cladding to the posts of the Economist gazebo you can either add framing timbers first like a stud wall. Or fix the boards directly to the outside of the posts.
Although this wooden gazebo is pressure treated (meaning it will last for years without rotting) it will still benefit from a weatherproof treatment to keep it looking really good. You can of course just leave it as is and enjoy the weathering process. We offer a range of different treatments to suit your preferences.
Such as Embalan timber paint or our Embadecor timber stain. We also offer impregnation fluid which is the same product used in the immersion process of all of the timber supplied with in the kit.
Free shingles for this gazebo are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last years stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not beas new
