Oak Timber Boards 20 x 200mm
Rough-sawn oak board perfect for cladding, joinery and furniture projects
This is a premium, rough-sawn oak board perfect for cladding, furniture making and structural detailing. Milled from European oak these boards provide warm tones and provide a durable, long-lasting solution for any interior or exterior project. The dense oak grain means this wood is exceptionally durable and protected from moisture, impact and wear.
If treated and maintained properly, these boards will last for 20 to 25, giving it a durability classification of 2. This makes it a great choice for various projects including cladding, tables and even roofs. Left untreated, the wood will naturally age to a beautifully silver-grey colour. Each plant has a unique and rugged appearance due to its coarse grain and prominent flame pattern.
Remember that oak contains tannic acid which can stain nearby surfaces. To prevent dark marks, you should always use stainless steel fasteners. You should also be careful when installing it over light coloured paving or concrete, as rain can cause the wood to bleed and leave stains.
