A few things to know:

Oak contains natural tannic acid, so you must use stainless steel screws to prevent staining. Also, avoid letting the wood touch steel, concrete, or light-colored surfaces.

Easy to Work With:

Install the planks either horizontally or vertically on a strong frame. Ensure there's good ventilation behind the wood and a small gap for natural expansion and contraction. Secure them with stainless steel screws or nails.
