Log Cabin and Shed Roofing Felt 6.5m

An affordable roofing option for your log cabin, shed or garden building

This is a traditional grey coloured mineral roofing felt that’s suitable for use with all garden buildings such as sheds, log cabins, kennels and gazebos. This roofing option is an affordable way to finish off any garden building and provides waterproofing to keep your shed or log cabin looking its best and protected from common problems such as cracking, splitting, mould and warping. Adding roofing felt to your garden building helps to extend its lifespan by protecting it from various weather conditions.

Felt can be used for any roof shape or pitch and is easy to install and handle. With its own adhesive backing, it can be applied easily to any surface without power tools, just a hammer, nails and cutting tools are required.

This material is also recommended by IKO as an underlay before installing felt shingles. It acts as a membrane, offering added protection for your log cabin. It is also suitable for use under our metal roof tiles.

If you are considering adding roofing felt to your log cabin, we recommend considering other long-lasting options such as felt shingles or EPDM roofing as they offer a much longer lifespan than roofing felt so will not need to be replaced as often, keeping your log cabin protected from the elements throughout its lifespan.

Please note: All felt needs to be handled carefully. It can rip and will become brittle below 8 degrees. In high temperatures, it can become very pliable and rip so take care when lifting and moving felt across a roof.
