Cut from European oak, these beams have a rough sawn finish that can be left as it is for a rustic look or you can plane or sand it for a refined finish. The material also offers high rigidity, natural resistance to the elements and aesthetic appeal.

Each beam has its own unique look with knots, grain and colour variations providing a unique look to each girder. If finished properly and maintained over time, these beams have a long lifespan which means your project will remain standing and aesthetically pleasing over the long term.

Please note: Oak contains tannic acids so contact with iron and moisture can cause black stains to appear on the wood. We recommend using stainless steel fasteners and you should be careful with underlying materials such as paving or concrete.
