Our Flex Fence System provides something a little different to the traditional fence panel, helping to add a feature to your garden that’s both aesthetically pleasing and practical. This system is a rail and mounting kit that allows you to create an opening louvre fence or an adjustable slatted screen. The kit contains a pair of mounting rails and fixings but does not include the timber slats themselves.

Once installed, you can simply push one slat and the rest will open or close as needed, making it easy to adjust your fence to meet your needs. This provides control over light, airflow and privacy and gives you a flexible solution that’s perfect for a range of uses. Create a garden screen, a pergola roof, add privacy to your patio or create other architectural features.

Most timber thicknesses will work with this system. The type of timber you choose will affect the weight of the system, influencing the maximum width of the panel you create. The thickness and width you choose will be dependent on how you want the final fence panel to look. We recommend a board size no longer than 1.8m with a +/-200mm overlap. The thickness should be 12-18mm.
