Douglas Fence Construction Materials – Corner Posts

Build your own garden projects

From building your own long-lasting, attractive fence to separate your garden or you want to build an attractive pergola or gazebo you can enjoy in your garden, these Douglas fir corner posts provide an attractive, durable and stable solution that will remain standing for years to come. These posts allow you to slot boards into them easily to create a fence panel or add privacy to your gazebo or pergola.

Made from Douglas fir, a timber renowned for its strength and weather resistance, these posts are perfect for a range of garden projects. These posts will need to be set into the ground with cement to hold them in place.

Douglas fir is used in outdoor builds due to its exceptional strength, straight grain and natural weather resistance. This makes it naturally resistant to rot and insect damage, providing you with long-lasting structures that will stand the test of time.

Please note: The grooves in these posts do not run all the way down the length of the posts as the ungrooved section will usually be inserted into the ground to form a stable structure.

Popular uses

  • Corner posts for fencing: These posts are the perfect solution for joining or turning fence lines.

  • Pergolas, gazebos and archways: Douglas fir’s superior strength makes it perfect for pergola frames, archways or walkways.
