Our products in your garden
Bodine Pent Summer House 3 x 3m
A stylish and functional garden retreat
Our summer house offers the perfect blend of modern design and practicality, ideal for enhancing your garden space. Constructed from 28mm interlocking Spruce logs, this summer house provides durability and protection from the elements during the warmer months.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing summer house, a dedicated home office, or a creative studio, the Bodine summer house provides the perfect solution. The pent roof not only adds a modern look but also promotes efficient rainwater runoff, ensuring long-lasting performance, even in the UK climate. The pent roof also allows for larger floor-to-ceiling doors on the front, allowing even more light to flood the interior.
Pent roofing options
We offer three different roofing types for pent summer houses, designed to suit your preferences and budget.
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer) Rubber Roofing: Our top recommendation, EPDM roofing is supplied as a single, continuous sheet with no overlaps – eliminating weak spots. It is supplied with both a spray adhesive for broad coverage and a tube adhesive for precision around the edges. For a polished finish, you can pair this roofing with modern metal roofing trims. This option has a lifespan of over 20 years, ensuring a long-lasting solution.
Easy roofing (High Performance Polyester Base): This roofing option is delivered in 5x1m rolls. It’s self-adhesive backing means no additional glue is required, simplifying the installation process. Similarly to the EPDM option, it can be neatly finished with metal or timber trims and offers a lifespan of over 15 years.
Felt Roofing Kit: For a more traditional look, our felt roofing kit provides standard rolls of roofing felt – similar to those used on many UK garden sheds. The kit includes clout nails and felt glue to secure the overlaps. This option has the shortest lifespan of two to three years and will need replacing over time to ensure your summer house stays in the best condition.
Alternatively, if you prefer to use your own roofing material, you can purchase this model with no roofing option.

Very impressed, once I got the base level it all went together really easy, instructions were good, and followed instructions on web site. Surprised how quick it went up, needed help on roof to make life easy, otherwise all put together on own in under a week including treating the wood. There were plenty of screws and nails in the kit to finish the job, and some spare wood as well . V good value I would highly recommend it
Cabin was delivered on-time by courteous driver and offloaded with stacker truck on wider nearby road I arranged fitting with a local chap, the contact number obtained from Tuin info site. The install was carried out by two men in around 6 hours. I had previously unpacked & sorted the timber into separate stacks. The easy roof membrane was delivered with the cabin but I decided to use that on another shed that was in need of reroofing so I arranged with the installers for them to fit the EPDM sheet which they got locally. The instructions were mislaid and caused a little concern on how to fit the guttering but was resolved and I used standard half round with an offset downpipe. I was going to paint the cabin but couldn't decide the colour so used Sikkens pine treatment with 2 coats as I've used it before on another cabin with good results. I am pleased with the cabin, it is a useful size and good value. I would have preferred a thicker wall, my other cabin was 44 mm and this 28mm so there is quite a difference in robustness. Also the roof timber is only 16 mm could do with maybe 20mm. That said it is still strong enough for what it is to be used for, a general purpose garden building come shed. Thanks Tuin for the handy installation tips, all that is left for me to do now is finish installing the floor as the cabin was ordered with out one. I will used timber bearers and flooring grade chipboard. Best regards
