I was pleasd how easy cabin went together
After reading loads of information on Tuin website, we decide on the Annabel. The cabin arrived well packed and was delivered to exactly where we wanted. The instructions could have been a bit clearer in places. Tuin were helpful in answering any questions, even out of hours. We started off with a perfectly level and square concrete base. The first issue we had was fixing the composite base and cabin to the base. (I think this needs a video or blog to help). I was recommend by yourselves to use threaded bar and chemical resin. This caused me some major issues when trying to fix, then square things up again. If I was to build again I would probably use angle brackets. The tips on twisted logs were useful. Early advice about treating the inner window and door frames in the instructions would have saved me some time. Think the EPDM roof could have done with another tin of spray as I ran out 3/4 of the way through. I fitted guttering on the back and the EPDM was long enough to flap into the gutter for better run off. I also sourced different uPVC edging to complete the roof. I insulated both the roof and the floor with 50mm insulation board, but found it just a wee bit higher at the door than I would have liked. After getting over these problems the overall build was relatively easy and the results were quite satisfying. The materials are very good quality and I would definitely recommend a Tuin log cabin. It's an excellent addition to our garden, which we have had a lot of use of already. We look forward to many more years of use. Thank you Tuin.
