A great alternative to panelled garden buildings, impress your friends with a log cabin summerhouse!

The Ingmar is an excellent choice in 28mm interlocking logs - both attractive and functional, place at the end of your garden to create your own hideaway. Featuring offset double doors and single window as well as small front canopy, this allows you to sit outside and still be protected from the sun. The door and window position can be swapped as required.

All timber used is slow grown Spruce for a tight wood grain and the Dutch recognise that this creates a stable and durable log cabin. For the highest quality finish, the timber is also specially selected for the interlocking construction and will not include a mixture of timber varieties or finger jointing.

Supplied untreated, the Ingmar will require treatment as soon as it has been installed.

FREE roof Shingles: As a standard building you can select either roofing felt or FREE shingles. We cannot guarantee which colour or shape will be sent. We will always let you know the colour and style following your order.  It is rarely possible to change those offered as it is dependant on our stocks.

Free shingles for this Ingmar 28mm Log Cabin are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last years stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not be 'as new'.

Standard Roof Shingles: These are from our standard catalogue range and are available in various colours and styles.

We highly recommend shingles with your log cabin: The final finish is far more superior and turns a shed into a stunning log cabin. Ordinary felt will last two - three years. Shingles will last for at least 15 years and it is unlikely you will ever need to replace them.

Just about finished my Ingmar cabin, loving it so far. Very easy to erect as long as you have a flat solid foundation. Fits together so easily. Few friends in the trade helped and professional advice needed for an amateur like me. Expect a few extra expenses for timber, treatment, insulation etc. Floor and shingles need to be fitted well as there is not much room for error. Front wall between door and window was very loose and I was worried along with my joiner but as soon as facings were fitted it knitted well. Doors were great to fit although barrel in lock was pretty light and not great quality but I purchased a more robust one for a couple of pound.

So far I and my joiners are very impressed by the cabin and grand opening planned as soon as electrics are switched on.

Delivery driver was very good, friendly and efficient. My street is narrow and managed to get it coned off but not required as he brought pack round with a forklift.

So far so good!

The cabin arrived on the scheduled day, the driver was very helpful and friendly, we had a socially distanced chat about the current situation and Brexit. As I could only have the pallet dropped in the road, it meant unpacking and restocking the components, which meant I was able to check everything as we unpacked the pallet. All seems in good order and the quality of the timbers looks good. I will post pictures of the completed project in due course. I would certainly recommend Tuin to anyone looking to get a garden building. Thank you.

I am really very pleased with this purchase, the cabin looks amazing.

we assembled it ourselves and it was EASY, as it states in the fantastic supporting content on the website don't think too much and count the logs - you will be good.

I needed to contact Tuin to ask a was out of hours, so I emailed the 'outofhours' email address and got a response within 30 minutes - outstanding!!!

I would thoroughly recommend this product and company.

Once I had decided on which cabin I would like it was a very easy and helpful ordering process.
Excellent delivery service and driver. Cabin delivered to within 50 feet of my rear garden access. After unpacking it helps by laying out the logs and other bits out with the same part numbers as shown on the tags to allow a logical sequence of putting the cabin together.
The enclosed instructions booklet was a tad hard to read as the print was so small and slightly smudged but a combination of Youtube, logic and a lets see had it sorted.
The build took me, working single handed, a weekend. The only issues I had was, after making the double door frame gap to the stipulated width. I then had to assemble the knocked down frame. The door frame was then placed into into the wall gap, all good it seemed but I found that when it came to putting the doors onto the frame hinges there was no way they were going to fit or close within the frame.
The quick and easy solution was to remove the door rebates, further reduce each door width at the centre edges by 5 mm. I then replanted new rebates onto the doors. After this little modification the doors now fitted. Door securing top and bottom bolt holes in the bottom and top rail needed to be re-drilled but apart from that no other problems. I did wonder at the time if the doors were sized correctly at the factory.
I installed my own floor including sub floor insulation which was easy.
Overall very happy with my purchase and would buy other Tuin products.
