A lovely pyramid, hipped roof log cabin with double doors and one opening window, the Halvar is constructed using 28mm interlocking wall logs. This log cabin measures 3.0 x 3.0m.

The most striking feature of the 28mm Halvar Log Cabin has to be the pyramid roof; it creates a generous ridge height and spacious interior. Suitable for a variety of uses from summerhouse to heavy duty storage shed, the Halvar comes complete with double doors and opening side window.

For an authentic finishing touch, add coloured roof shingles and a metal finial.

Manufactured using 28mm slow grown Spruce with a tight wood grain, the Dutch recgonise that this timber creates a stable log cabin built for longevity. For the highest quality finish, the timber is also specially selected for the interlocking construction and will not feature a mixture of timber varieties or finger jointing.

Supplied untreated as standard, the Halvar can be customised to match the unique style of each garden. A log cabin may be treated using a variety of methods including pressure treatment, painting or the application of a stain or impregnation fluid.

FREE roof Shingles: As a standard building you can select either roofing felt or FREE shingles. We cannot guarantee which colour or shape will be sent. We will always let you know the colour and style following your order.  It is rarely possible to change those offered as it is dependant on our stocks.

Free shingles for this Halvar 28mm Pyramid, hipped roof Log Cabin are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last years stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not be 'as new'.

Standard Roof Shingles: These are from our standard catalogue range and are available in various colours and styles.

We highly recommend shingles with your log cabin: The final finish is far more superior and turns a shed into a stunning log cabin. Ordinary felt will last two - three years. Shingles will last for at least 15 years and it is unlikely you will ever need to replace them.

Log Cabin Storm Kit A storm kit can be chosen to help safeguard your log cabin from severe winds/weather, Each kit features four anchoring points for each corner of the building.
Delivery Zone
Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.
Delivery Week

Deliveries are carried out by external hauliers or carriers, Log Cabins are delivered with a fully articulated lorry with a moffett forklift.

The Halvar log cabin is our second from Tuin, after having an Emma cabin in our last garden.
We bought this 3m x 3m cabin to fit perfectly in an unused part of the garden.
Our fitter took a couple of days to build, with another day spent on the shingles, which he’d never tackled before.
The 28mm logs are great quality and help keep the warmth in, as do the black shingles, which soak-up all the sunlight.
Really happy with the cabin overall, and effectively gives us an extra room which is ideal for quiet naps!

Very good product, and an interesting project. A couple of the boards needed extra work to fit in and the door catch is sticking. These apart I was pleased with the completed building .

Order & delivery perfect. The truck the cabin arrived on was enormous but luckily the driver was so efficient holdups we’re minimal. Arrived a day early by appointment. Was under tarp for nearly 2 weeks before installation - only adverse affect was some of floor boards discoloured slightly. Amazingly well packed with glass in windows and double doors in tact. Construction was fast once figured out base layer but shingles & floorboards were a slower process esp in heatwave. Nothing missing in pack which was a relief. Some of the videos could have been clearer but generally most could be figured out. Took 2 long days with 2 people but just one lead the process..
Most tedious bit was barge board installation- had to trim a bit as double doors clashed with it and repositioning leaves ugly corners having mitred them in a lower position initially.
Generally well pleased with quality & service and at sale price was good value. Good work Tuin
