Let us make things easier with our garden decking kits - All of which are calculated to give you the correct number of frame beams, decking boards and screws and accessories.

We've also designed this kits to become the best of both worlds - Making them suitable to be used alongside your Log Cabin timber frame, The decking boards are grooved and 28mm in thickness. Along with 145mm thick framing beams.

Please note: These kits will need to be cut to size during installation, see the detailed description for more information on what is included in our decking kits. This kit is only available for a 2.4m width deck, if you require something wider please look into the rest of our Garden Decking Kits.

These boards are manufactured with a relief on one side- Perfect for the traditional garden decking look. The other side is smooth, this side can be used for a clean decking look, or to be used as a timber frame base next to your Log Cabin. Base frame: Like the decking board the frame timber will need to be cut to size on installation. Centers of 400mm.

The kit as supplied is for placing on a flat level area, directly onto weed matting. If you're planning to raise your decking instead of having it on ground level, there are multiple ways to do this: either with the use of posts or using something like our plastic adjustable post holders.

If you are planning to create a raised deck using our plastic timber frame adjustable base pads- We'd recommend that you select the 95mm thick frame beams when ordering your kit, the 95mm beams would also be suitable if you are planning to install your decking on a hard flat surface- On a concrete base for example. If you are planning to use timber posts to raise your decking, or plan to install it directly on concrete blocks then we would suggest choosing our 145mm version at the same size.

Screws: We have supplied all the hardware and screws needed for these kits. Our decking screws feature a wax coating, allowing you to install them quicker and with less effort- These are also chosen for their compatibility with using a pressure treated board. The post screws have been chosen due to their large head- Known to be resistant to breakage. Our framing screws measure at 8mm x 100mm and require a Torx 40 drill bit, the drill bit is included when a box of screws are ordered. The framing screws also have a yellow zinc plated finish. The decking screws measure to 5mm x 50mm , A universal screw made from stainless steel.
