The good things: High quality logs, accurately machined. The logs were easy to assemble once the foundation beams were in the correct place and the piles of timber were sorted appropriately. Richard and Karen were very helpful. The delivery came before 7am and the fork lift was able to position the pallets in an awkward spot right in front of the house. Impressive looking log cabin for the price. Sikkens Cetol Novatech Woodstain is quick to apply and looks good. The not so good things: Finding someone to level the ground and do the concrete base. The written instructions and drawings could be clearer and a few more pictures would help. Treating the timber and allowing it to dry (Don't mention the weather!). The window handles were stiff and a screw holding the catch plate had broken off. The complete windows and frame is very heavy and hard to move into position. It probably needed dismantling. Apart from these minor problems, the log cabin is brilliant. Thanks
