Easy to build with no real issues. We did experience some water getting inside the cabin through one outer window frame after just a small rain shower and this was due to water that had landed on the logs above running down and settling on the horizontal top of the exterior fascia (slightly warped) and running behind it, into and across the expansion gap and then behind the internal fascias. I made and attached (to single logs) rain diverters to sit above each window and attached shields to them that extend to below the top of the fascia so it is completely protected from the elements but still allowing the logs to expand/contract. Will need to see if it works in more extreme weather yet. I would say you need to be good at DIY if doing your own install, otherwise get some help.
