Ingrid Corner Log Cabin 3x3m

Delivery was as promised, the delivery driver Wayne could not have been more helpful positioning the packed cabin. The corner log cabin was very securely packed for safety and protection. However it has not yet been unpacked due to trades contractors letting us down with the slab construction, therefor the cabin is in our garage for storage until such time for construction. The information and help from Tuin has been perfect.

We are so pleased with our Ingrid Summer House. Although purchased, erected and treated at the end of the summer season we are looking forward to sorting out the interior over the winter months. Therefore enjoying it and getting a full summer usage next year.
Ordering and delivery were exceptional experience's. Nothing was too much for the carrier with the compact unit being placed exactly where I wanted it at the scheduled time.
Once it was unpacked and all pieces sorted and placed in position it was a two man job erecting the main walls and roof beams in a day by myself and son. The roof and roofing material were fitted by myself over another couple of days. It came with erection instructions that were comprehensive and informative. I did have a couple of questions for the support team and these were answered quickly and clearly. Exterior treatment is probably the most onerous task but will reap rewards later. The Grey Carefree treatment I used on the exterior walls went on really well and formed what should be a great barrier after 3 coats. We wanted the doors and windows to be in contrasting white but had problems with the coverage using this. After contacting the team with photos we are being sent a replacement white as the original was not the same consistency as the Grey. We will send in some photos when the build and treatment is complete.

Excellent quality product & service. Delivery company extremely helpful & accommodating. Fairly easy to assemble. Only criticism is that a few logs needed a bit of alteration by our carpenter to fit properly. Worth paying extra for the composite foundation beams. We had a concrete base built & spent a lot of money & time treating the timbers with wood preservative which was money well spent. Thrilled with the final result. Would definitely recommend this product & company. Exceeded our expectations.

We had spent some time looking at various log cabins to suit our requirements and decided that a corner cabin was our best option. Once we had decided on the 3 X 3 Ingrid the ordering process was easy and we included floor in our original order. A couple of days later I decided to add Carefree treatment and shingle glue. This was also easily done, I received email to confirm that it would all be delivered together it also gave the working week number for the delivery. The week prior to delivery I received a call to confirm day and approximate arrival time. I was also told that the delivery driver would call me on the day to confirm time. As promised I received a call 40 mins prior to arrival. Our street is not suitable for large vehicles the driver had already assessed this so parked on a straight section of road at entrance to estate. He was then able to offload and transport the large pallet load with the Moffit forklift. I was pleased that he was able place the pallet at the top of my drive which has quite a steep slope. No fuss and delivery was complete within 15mins.
The website and each email provide links to a number of helpful blogs and videos which allow you to plan how to erect the cabin. We found building the cabin to be great fun.
One thing to consider with a corner cabin is that you may not have access to two sides, as in our case, where we have a disused railway cutting to the east (too steep to allow ladders or scaffold to be used) and a neighbours shed on the south side. To construct the roof I boarded and shingled one side at a time using ladder placed inside the cabin. I left the west side until last as I could access this from the outside. The Ingrid has quite a steep roof so I constructed a crawling board from pallet timber so that I could get to the high sections of ridge and capping shingle to the point.

Extremely happy with the cabin. Quality great. As most other people have said the instructions are not very good. Took me quite a few weeks to complete. My wife helped me to lift the doors and windows into place but apart from that I did everything else myself. I've got a good quality scaffold tower otherwise I would not have been able to build the cabin on my own. I bought the red shingles which look great. I had absolutely none to spare and making a nice job of the top pyramid was very difficult. The sections of red on the strips of shingles is not very big. A nice piece about 12 or 18 inches square would have been great !!!
Family, friends and neighbours have all been impressed with the cabin.

I recently purchased an ingrid log cabin, must say that I am very impressed with the quality of the product and the cost is quite reasonable. I will say that the roof height could be an issue for some people as it’s higher than you think when you’re working up there. The instructions provided can be a little vague, but the backup from Tuin is very good and they will answer your questions promptly.
Generally a good product and I would recommend it to anyone!

Took a while to decide on the Ingrid cabin from Tuin, in recent years we've purchased and built a competitors cabin but this one from Tuin has been superior in every way. Delivery, quality and design have been superb. Best bet is to get most of the timbers out and sort as the packing is not in order of build (says this in the help on this site). Also I read up various help articles and watched the videos as the instructions are basic. All in all we're very happy so far (we've not finished roof). Composite bearers are a great option too, bit pricey but gives a rot free base.

Every aspect of this purchase has been well managed including the helpful delivery guy! Looked a daunting self build but the quality and fit made it straightforward for me and my sidekick (that is my wife!)
Looks great now complete and painted. This is a quality product and I am really pleased with the summerhouse

Great products, easily put together but better instructions would have been a help

Fantastic value and easily assembled by anybody with a modicum of common sense. My only criticism would be not being made aware that there is a metal roof finial available which would be the icing on the cake to what I feel is a great addition to the look of my garden garden. I will have no hesitation in recommending your products when ever I am asked.

I am happy to give a 4 star review; it would have been 5 star had the timbers been preserved.
The technical engineering is very precise and very easy to assemble but also quite slow, be prepared to spend two plus days to properly finish it.
We are very pleased with the company,product and completed outcome.
Just one other bit of advice - start the roof boarding from the bottom not the top.

I had been looking for a log cabin/summer house for some time and have searched the various websites. I eventually decided to order a Log cabin from Tuin. The Ingrid. The main reason I chose Tuin was the information on the website. You can find an article/blog on anything to do with installing a new log cabin, all the information is there. If you cant find it you just e mail them and you have an answer very quickly. So I ordered my new cabin back in February with a delivery date in March. I received an email letting me know to expect a telephone call from the delivery company. They called me the week before delivery. I received a text the day before letting me know the driver would call me approximately 1 hour before he arrived. He called and because of the tight road I live on he parked roughly 500 yards from my house and delivered the cabin to my house on a forklift truck. I cannot speak highly enough about the driver he was very helpful and even managed to negotiate my narrow drive and placed at the end of my driveway. Onto the build ,I already had installed my concrete base so was able to start the build on Easter Friday and it took myself, son and father in law the easter weekend to complete the build.I did have a couple of issues during the build but e mailed the out of hours e mail address and received help. How good is that! The shingles were not easy and have only just finished them. I have still to complete the floor. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend Tuin.

I purchased the Ingrid Log Cabin in August 2021,and my wife and I assembled the cabin together. It was delivered on a pallet in flat pack form. The delivery was on time and complete and very efficient.
The assembly went very well with no problems, as I have worked in the construction industry for many years up to my retirement.
It is not just a DIY project you may need help on the different stages of the assembly of the cabin.
But on the plus side when finished the log cabin is excellent.

I'm very pleased with the purchase of the Ingrid Cabin. The cabin was built in about eight hours with the shingles taking a few hours the next day. Construction is well within the remit of a competent DIYer.

Very please with the Ingrid Log cabin. It went together quite easily, maybe more warning regarding the first layer at the bottom of the doors (you only find out you have used the wrong pierce when you fit the last layer before fitting the roof) The roof was the most difficult part to put together and fit. Maybe some better instruction would help. But on the whole very pleased with the finished product.

Well done to the driver for getting the pallet up our narrow lane and making the unpacking easy - Thanks - assembly was as instructions and very pleased with the quality of all components. shingles look great and finish the cabin off just right. doors and windows look just right (painting was a bit of a pain). fitted a small stove ready for the winter and looking forward to many evenings reading and relaxing. We were recommended your company by a friend and have not been disappointed. We ordered the Ingrid Log Cabin and have been very pleased with it. The quality of the cabin is very good and it was fairly straight forward to assemble. The only tricky bit was the roof due to the pitch! We also ordered a shed annexe and this was very easy to assemble and attach to the Ingrid Log Cabin. We unfortunately found ourselves short on flooring packs, but your customer service in sorting out the problem was excellent, and our missing floor packs arrived the following day. The wealth of information on your website was very useful in assisting us to build both our log cabin and the annexe without too much trouble. We would highly recommend your company.

Great summer house and price at the time (around autumn/winter of 2020). Only issue we had was a broken length of wood. Contacted Tuin with a quick response but guessing due to covid we waited around 2 months for the replacement peice. Luckily my builder worked around the issue and now we have a home gym

After a lot of searching on the internet during the winter Lockdown, I kept coming back to Tuin, and we ordered the 3m x 3m Ingrid Log Cabin. The process was easy, only a 3 week lead time, the Tuin staff answered all my queries and the delivery man was excellent and so helpful - it’s an enormous lorry it took up half the street!, but the pallet was easily placed in our driveway.
Our landscaper had never built one of these before and the instructions aren’t the clearest, so it probably took longer to build than normal ( not helped with the Glasgow rain and wind!). But the end result is fabulous and the wood is so thick it will definitely withstand the climate up here.
The only slight complaint is that the windows aren’t super tight, but we are going to put a rubber seal around the inside.
Overall I would highly recommend Tuin, cheaper versions would be a waste of money.

A couple of my neighbours have Tuin log cabins and we thought they looked good so we chose Tuin for our Ingrid summerhouse and the annexe shed.
We ordered during the pandemic and unfortunately our order was delayed - Tuin gave us the option of cancelling but I had my heart set on the Ingrid so we waited and I’m so pleased we did!
The summerhouse went up easily, the hardest part was figuring out the surround and how to put it together. The roof is also very steep and we actually ended up paying a neighbour who has a landscape business to put up the battens and shingles for us.
The quality is amazing, we don’t have a huge garden but having this is like having another room in the house. I can’t wait until we have warmer weather and I can sit in it for hours or use it if we’re having a BBQ and the weather changes. Everyone has commented on how lovely it is- just waiting for an electrician to run a cable down for a couple of plugs and some external fisherman’s lights. Can’t recommend enough!

I decided to go with Tuin because my brother had purchased a much larger cabin a couple of years ago. Anyway I purchased the 3m x 3m corner cabin so it fitted into the corner in our garden and had the height so my daughter could use her weights above her head. Positives in brief. 1 more than enough height perfect. 2. Driver dropped the units exactly where requested. 3. I had created a really level concrete base. When the Cabin was being built it was always level and square. When the windows and door were attached they were immediately level and square. 4. The cabin was really quite straightforward to build. I build this with my teenage son in a couple of days. 5. The shingles look absolutely fabulous. The whole cabin is great and I would recommend this cabin and the company. Negatives. 1. The shed was eady to build but the shingles took forever to put on. The pitch on each of the four sides of the cabin is very steep and I ended up attaching timber to the side of the shed to put on the first 4 5 rows. Then I needed to attach a furter base on top of the roof to complete the shingles. It does take some time 2. When there is heavy rain there is a lot of splashback from the ground back onto the cabin. In hindsight I should have purchased the guttering. I think I will do this now.
In summary, I'm really pleased with the finished look and the shingles are worth the time it takes. Great company and a great product.

My Ingrid cabin arrived on time and placed exactly where I wanted on my driveway, it is important to check all the pieces and be familiar with the parts. I constructed a timber frame for the base and did not order a floor from Tuin, the cabin was easy to install and apart from installing the roof I carried out the work by myself, the whole install took me 5 days but I found working on the 3m roof quite difficult as the pitch of the roof is quite steep, I made some ladders that were tied off on the ground to help. I installed a floor with 18mm OSB and fitted a vinyl covering that looks great, I treated the timber with Sadolin wood protector as we wanted to keep the wood looking natural.
All in all I am very happy with the Ingrid and it is a very sturdy, solid cabin and Tuin were very helpful waits any questions I had.

I bought my Emma Log Cabin in June 2017 and installed it myself. Having worked really hard on the base (and that was tough !), i was able to assemble the cabin same day - and lay the shingles the following day. I followed all the instructions i was given - to the letter - including buying a high quality wood preserve (four coats). At the time i recall i had made a couple of mistakes along the way - eg. didn't realise insulation went on the roof - which cost me a bit of time, but added to the overall satisfaction of doing the job well. Today - 3 years on - the cabin still looks as though it was installed yesterday, with no signs of deterioration - so i can say i remain absolutely delighted with my decision to buy this quality product which has been invaluable as an office during the lockdown.

We bought the Ingrid corner log cabin in June last year and it has only taken me a year to write the review!
From start to finish, the service was great. Easy to erect and was even better than expected. It is good quality and the shingles we used were decent colour (green) and better quality than others we have used in the past. We had slight issue with the door as it did not close tightly at the bottom. Tuin provided us with the support to correct this without any stress. We have been happily enjoying the Summerhouse for a year now and are more than pleased with our purchase.

I work in an office, I don’t do much DIY, and don’t consider myself particularly handy, but the Tuin cabin install was very easy and really enjoyable. I did it during the coronavirus lockdown, so only had my 2 primary school age boys to help, but they loved it too!

Firstly the instructions. They are very simple. I almost rang up to say they were missing, but then realised the schematics in the pack were the instructions. But after a proper look though, and after unpacking and sorting the parts on my garage floor, it soon became clear. Basically your full instructions are a combination of the Tuin website, Tuin blog, and what’s supplied in the pack. Use all 3 before and during and I promise it will be easy and enjoyable.
One thing to mention, certain subjects are covered a few times on the website in different areas, and usually one of the places will answer your questions. Search around, and check the user comments!

After the foundation beams being cut, and screwing some of the first logs to them, we were away! It only took a few hours to have ALL the logs in place, and windows and door frame.

It was like an life size lego kit. It was so easy you could have probably done it without the instructions (although I wouldn’t recommend it).
There were a few logs I thought were spare until near the end then I realised I needed them, so count and double check everything vs the instructions, and don’t throw anything away until you’ve finished!

My door frame looked like it had been assembled then disassembled, and I had to remove quite a few bent nails before I could put together. Not sure what that was about, but it wasn’t too much hassle and I suspect doesn’t happen all the time.
Putting the hinges in was the hardest bit, it took ages to screw them into the frame! I used an L shaped allen key as a wrench to make it easier.

The last thing worth mentioning, is that there we some small gaps and imperfect fits before we put the roof on, I was concerned id done something wrong, or we had a bent log somewhere, but once the roof was on, it all seemed OK.

And the roof was the trickiest bit, I sawed a few bits off the ‘purlins’ (I think that’s what they’re called) to ensure 100% straight surface. The little triangles for the very top of each roof section I glued in after the first 2 shattered when I nailed them in.
I also thought I was going to run out of shingles but had more than enough leftover, even though the shingles going up the roof were 12 in total, but going up there ridges there were 15..! I used a hook style Stanley knife blade to cut shingles, lots easier!
And last tip, order your stain at the same time, it took a while to arrive.

Our Ingrid summerhouse arrived early and was unloaded with care and left just where we wanted it. At first, the build was daunting with so many pieces and only barely adequate instructions. It would help with part identification if the drawings were clearer. After a couple of errors the build went very well and my wife and I enjoyed the experience. It took us two days to complete the main construction and another couple of days to complete the roof. Accessing the apex of the roof was difficult and made fixing the last few tiles a real challenge. Overall the build went smoothly. There were a couple of logs that were slightly twisted but the roof beams met perfectly at the apex. The windows and doors fitted easily. We insulated the floor and have now painted the summerhouse in two colours. We are very pleased with the result and have received numerous compliments from friends who have seen it. I would recommend Tuin to anyone. The only thing that could be improved are the written Instructions. More and better quality illustrations of the various building stages would cost very little but make a big difference.

Excellent product, easily erected by one person on level and square base up to roof joists which req two persons thereafter can be completed by singleton, door bolts even slipped into pre drilled holes.

Absolutely fantastic product which when it came, couldn't believe that all the parts were there. The kit was packed so well and it soon went up after we had worked out the base parts.
Very pleased that managed to put this product up in two and a half days with failing light.

Purchased the Ingrid corner cabin in November 2019 after reviewing numerous cabins on both Tuin and other sites, and very happy that we've made the right choice both with Tuin and the Ingrid.
Thought about building ourselves (mediocre DIY skills) but decided to get local joiner involved, who diligently reviewed all the videos on the Tuin site (which are excellent) and did an excellent job assembling for us.
Looking forward to making full use of our cabin come spring 2020.

It is absolutely gorgeous - great price and excellent delivery. I had taken note of the reviews of others before buying it, and I am so pleased that I followed their recommendation.

We painted it in the lightest shade of sage green with bay green trim around the window frames, and the whole structure adds elegance and quality to our garden, continuing to delight us.

The two lads who constructed it over a couple of days were careful to make the base exactly level, and it was worth it because the corner log cabin then slotted together logically and with ease.

We actually use the cabin as a playroom for our profoundly handicapped son, so we wanted it to be very special. We added a carpet and a variety of games for him, and he is thrilled. Despite being filled with his toys, the cabin feels surprisingly spacious and the only problem is that he doesn't want to come back into the house!

An excellent product. The instructions could be improved. Some of the window edge pieces didn't fit together and the gap needed widening. That said, overall I am happy with the purchase.

I purchased the Ingrid Corner Log Cabin 3X3m in February 2019. It was installed by a Tuin recommended installer. The Ingrid is fantastic! I call it a summerhouse and it is beautiful. The quality and workmanship is second to none. It looks amazing sitting in the corner of my garden. I plan to paint it pale green over the next couple of weeks. No hesitation is recommending this amazing garden room.

Never was a truer word stated that the 'Devil is in the Detail' and the approach to the log cabins in this respect is exemplary.
The actual delivery was another high spot in the adventure and the skill and consideration demonstrated by the highly professional dutch lorry driver was a pleasure to behold.
If my ramblings appear to be somewhat euphouric I will admit to being overcome by the quality and support of this product and at a time when mediocrity is common-place.

The quality of the building is superb and took about 3 days for me to construct on my own. All the pieces fitted together very easily with the roof taking another 3 days, the roof shingles are excellent quality and I took the precaution of also using glue to fix them as I am in a very windy area. My main concern was the delivery as we live quite a distance off the main road on a farm track and had been told that delivery would be kerbside. However when the giant lorry arrived the driver could not have been more helpful. He used his fork lift to travel sideways along the potholed track and dropped the package exactly where I needed it, a real no nonsense service. The cabin looks superb and we are very happy with the whole experience.

Ordered a few weeks ago .and they delivered when they said they would .everything was there that was needed for the cabin to be erected .I could not believe how easy it was to assemble , it does take time when you have not done one before ,but once you ve started it all goes together very well ,making sure all joints are tapped in with a rubber mallet , as some joints are a little tighter that others .but so easy to follow once you start .I think the shingles on the roof took the longest to do ,but finished up with a lovely job .I did have a friend carpenter ,who had never done one before , and he was very impressed .thank you for a great new feature in my garden ,I would certainly recommend to any of my friends .

We have just completed the installation of our summerhouse and it looks fantastic. The initial ordering and delivery process was extremely efficient with telephone updates of exact delivery time.
The quality of the material is excellent and everything fitted together perfectly.
The online instructions are simple and easy to follow as long as you take your time.

Terrific bargain, don’t think you will find anything that beats the value of this cabin. Only 2 pieces of wood out of the hundreds delivered that needed changing, no questions asked just sent a photo and they were changed with no hassle. Good shopping experience from start to finish. Excellent delivery service. Easy to follow assembly instructions although there are one or two little things that could be improved upon. Looks great in the garden, time will tell on the durability but I’m sure if I’ve treated it properly I’m sure it will be fine.

Excellent from start to finish. Good communication when ordering and arrived on time. All parts delivered and in perfect condition. Already built the base prior to delivery. 3 of us building the house took about 4 hours and I was amazed how well it fitted together and how solid it is. Roofing felt took a day to fit but good quality and looks really good. Also bought the floor from Tuin which looks great and is stronger than expected. Our Ingrid cabin has provide us with the extra space we needed, it was easy to build and looks great. we just have a small problem with a warped door but it should improve after painting and using a turnbuckle. Without this slight annoyance we would have given 5 stars!

Ordering was very easy and quick, arrived on time and in excellent condition. at 76 I was still able to unpack the cabin parts delivered to the front of our bungalow and repack them at the rear. It took me about two hours a younger man would have done it in an hour. The quality of all the parts seems excellent and the instructions, once read once or twice, even to me make sense. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have not started the construction yet, but having watched the videos, read the instructions and now seen the quality of materials, I am confident I will be able to erect this particular log cabin on my own. I will post again (with pictures) after completion.

Communication and delivery of the cabin was excellent all as expected.

I bought ingrid cabin and the quality is very good, solid product. Although when it arrived two window panes were broken Tuin customer service were excellent and paid for the repair bill within 24hrs!! My DIY man and myself manage to complete the build in a week! I did all the painting which was easy as I completed most painting before the cabin went up! We still have the laminate floor to fit but product looks good and instructions clear. So yes I am very happy with my ingrid cabin

The cabin arrived on the day I was told and all components were included nothing missing, which was a relief.Initial build instructions were easy to follow and was erected in about three days including staining all pieces before building.Roof shingles really do make a fantastic looking cabin even better. My only criticism would be the floor beams aren't long enough and I decided to buy full length ones to remove all that jointing , overall very very satisfied with this cabin

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting a log cabin. Placing the order was simple and I received a very prompt email when I queried something with them.
I was quite dubious about buying flat pack but I didn't encounter a single issue when constructing it, it took about 3 days with 2 of us working on it. Each piece fitted easily together and even the roof (which I was most worried about) went up with no problems. I also bought the metal finial with the gold ball to finish my cabin off. It looks wonderful at the bottom of my garden

I was so excited to get to build a 3-D jigsaw puzzle!
The delivery arrived without me even knowing but luckily I was in and the man was lovely and very accommodating about where I wanted it placed.
It was fairly quick and straightforward to build but make sure you do get the pieces right. There are a couple that look exactly the same but with slight differences and we only noticed there was a problem with the very first ones at the door when we tried to go up to the next level. Thought it was because we may not have it exactly straight but it wasn't! We found the correct piece and it went up really easily with 5 of us. It really helps to have some tall people when you get to the top.
Another warning is with the window -do not open it all the way up just try it as my husband did - it comes crashing out of the frame!! Luckily it only dented a little and no glass was broken.
The roofing was perhaps the trickiest bit as you have to be up pretty high - so you need someone not afraid of the height but its great that all the pieces are cut to the shape and size - although some need adjusting at the end.
The shingles were very nice and installed in 2 afternoons - we even have some left over.
You need to watch all the videos on installation - really helps with any tricky bits.
I did my own flooring with insulation, chipboard and laminate which cost around the same as the flooring offered.
Overall very pleased with my garden room. Thank you Tuin.

I haven't yet constructed my ingrid cabin as since it arrived it hasn't stopped raining.
The cabin comes very very well packed on a pallet I have put another waterproof over it but don't think it's really needed.
The driver was most helpful and with his fork lift truck made the operation quite simple.
The whole purchasing experience was an unusually pleasant experience.
But the most impressive part of the operation must surely be your website second to none, with the videos I can't wait to start

Fantastic product, I did a fair amount of research before buying and found this to be half the price of a couple of local suppliers. Cabin turned up as stated, on time and nicely packed. I read a few comments about the instructions being vague but I beg to differ. It is well worth spending a bit of time watching the videos and reading the tips on the Tuin website, I found the instruction on shingles particularly helpful. It was well worth separating all the various parts and putting them in individual stacks, From there the construction could not have been simpler. I had already prepared a wooden base and from the first log to the last (excluding the roof) was about 4 hours. The roof was another 3 and then the shingles were tackled a couple of hours a day over the next few days. The result is stunning and the quality absolutely spot on. It was also well worth finishing it off with the metal finial. I had so much pleasure building it that I want to do another one!!

Just finished building my ingrid, found no problem assembling, the shingles were a bit of a caper but I had plenty of spares, all in all I'm very pleased with it

Absolutely fantastic value and delighted with finished quality. I have already recommended tuin for log cabins. I thought The installation was fairly straightforward, with everything fitting exactly. Best tip I can give is to spend a bit of time laying out all the pieces before rushing to start and devote plenty of time getting the foundation level

I have just completed my Ingrid log cabin.
I built the cabin on own with a little help from my wife.
I found the instruction a bit vague so i phoned customer services at Tuin who replied to me very quickly and the gentleman I spoke to was extremely helpful.
As instructed, i laid everything out beforehand, which is essential and started to erect the cabin.
Once the base was down and i had the first row of the wall boards locked in it was easy and it took me, on my own about 2 hours to build up the walls of the cabin.
The roof was a bit harder and my wife helped me to get the first 2 cross members up as it would have been impossible on my own.
The roof shingles are easy to fit although time consuming and took me about a day and a half on my own.
The job would be a lot easier with 2 people who can use the tools and have a bit of DIY skills, however it's very straight forward once you get the base down.
The Quality of the Cabin is excellent and was extremely well packed when delivered.
The sales and after sales I cannot fault. They were friendly and very helpful.
The only negative comment I have - which was a surprise - is that there was no finial included.
I am now looking forward to using my log cabin for many years to come.

When we ordered the cabin we were a bit anxious as the price was much lower than a similar cabin we had seen locally. We shouldn't have worried. The cabin surpassed our expectations. The wood was excellent quality and fit. No warps or splits. My husband completed it in 5 days on his own including painting it. All our neighbours have been asking to see it and we've had loads of positive comments about how lovely it is to sit in. The tuin team were fantastic to deal with, including the delivery driver. All in all we're over the moon with it

The purchase process was efficient and delivery on time.
The instructions are not overaly detailed but adequate providing you have a practical mind and previous diy experience. I studied them in detail for several days to make sure I could understand the building process as well as reading all the information on the website.
I spent 3 hours on the Friday evening unpacking and moving the parts ready for buildjng the next day. On the Saturday I started at 7am and after a couple of minor mistakes had the cabin built to roof height by 11am. The parts fitted togeather perfectly and was very easy to assemble.....now the hard bit...! It look me a further 15 hours to erect the roof and attach the shingles. 5 hours in the torrential rain on the Saturday and 10 hours none stop on the Sunday. I would not recommend trying to build a cabin on your own. I'm 48 but extremely fit with good stamina but by the end I was totally exhausted.
Painting took several more hours and I've still got the floor to add this weekend.
As far as the quality of the cabin is concerned I'm very satisfied and consider it fare value and good quality. It's not difficult to build but allow 2-3 days as a one man job.

Excellent delivery well packed supurb quality and finish cant say enough about this product not built as yet stored flat in garage heavy weight doors and windows all glazing intact will be purchasing your wood care product shortly.really looking forward to the build many thanks again doug

The quality of the cabin is first rate. Every part is readily identifiable and erection can be carried out by someone with basic DIY skills.
The customer service from TUIN is second to none with answers to any queries being received by return e-mail. There were regular updates on the progress with the order and delivery turned up exactly on the day as promised.
Overall I can't fault anything with purchasing from this company and would happily recommend them to anyone considering buying a log cabin.

We are very pleased with our Ingrid log cabin. Customer service and delivery was very good. The cabin was easy to construct and is more substantial than many traditional summerhouses we had looked at before choosing this product.

It took some time to fit the shingles, but they look great and add to the overall appearance. Floor is yet to be installed, but we are looking forward to making good use of the cabin throughout the year once completed. Would definitely recommend Tuin.

1st class service from ordering to delivery, good communication and very prompt delivery. Overall quality of the log cabin is very good and not too difficult to erect, although the instructions could be a bit more detailed. I had free felt roof shingles supplied but require just 2 additional to cut up for the hips as the quantity supplied was very tight for what was required. I also purchased the interior floor packs, plenty of tongue and grooved boards supplied but disappointed with the timber supplied for the bearers as these were very short, so I bought longer lengths from b&q so that they could run the whole width of the cabin in one. These were only minor negatives compared to the overall package. I would definitely recommend Tuin to anyone, good products, good prices and good customer service.

Clear instructions , every component easily identified ,fitted together without any problems. I had watched the construction video before it arrived , so I had a idea of things , but I was still amazed how quickly it went together . Started building it at 10. Am and had it built within 5 hrs , excluding the shingle on the roof , the shingle roof was time consuming to fit but it made all the difference , If I say so myself " it looks great" , so pleased .
If you are considering getting a Tuin cabin , don't hesitate , a first class product .

We gain considerable advice from Customer Service to enable us to make an informed choice of product. The delivery driver was extremely helpful and provided advice if any parts were missing. Provided in one complete stack which at first you think is this all the parts? However, it is stacked expertly and my fitter commented that having the first parts needed at the top and working downwards was extremely helpful to construction. There was probably a few more knots in the Spruce than we expected but this was a very minor concern. Received the cabin, and unpacked it from the pallet for storage. I ordered it early, as there was a good discount available, but will not be installing it until mid-April. Until then, I'll be preparing the ground works, which will conclude as a very thick decking as a base for the cabin. Cabin looks great, the doors and windows are pretty heavy -certainly not flimsy looking things. The wood as well is 28mm thick, which is surprisingly thick, and should add to the rigidity, and robustness of the whole cabin - the big bad wot won't be bothering this cabin !
Impressed with the materials so far, and the service (I had a broken window on delivery, but have already made arrangements to get it resolved, and refunded).
I almost can't wait to get it built, and enjoy my 'clubhouse', roll on April.

Having purchased the Ingrid 3x3 cabin in spring last year I can honestly say that this is one of the best purchases I have made and could not be happier with the product.Installation was carried out by one of Tuin recommended installers and it was built to a very high quality.I have painted it both inside and out with "Zinzer"paint which has given it a great finish.I have turned it into a Bar/Lounge with soft furnishings subtle lighting and a oil radiator for added heat during the Autumn/Winter months I have spent many a night in their with friends.Its especially great when having a BBQ.I also sit out there every morning and have my coffee before heading off to work. I would highly recommend a these cabins which are far superior than others that I have seen and i am the envy of my friends so much so that they have also purchased a cabin.

Following the post dated 13 .03.14 we eventually obtained planning permission. After we cast the slab the Ingrid corner log cabin was quickly erected ( with help from Karen and Jos). All up in a day apart from the shingle roof coverings. Absolutely superb cannot thank Tuin enough. The timber has now been treated and now awaiting staining. Soon Hazel will be using it as an Artist's Studio.

Found the tuin site on a web search, by far the cheapest prices for the size cabin i was looking for.
made email contact before purchase richard from tuin was very help full post and pre sale. answering questions i had even on a sunday.

theres only one thing i wish i had known about this cabin (same for all) tuin offer the option to have the timber presure treated before dispatch, if you dont take this option the unit comes untreated to prolong the life of your cabin i recomend the treatment option wish i had.

OMG what a great bit of kit, Richard was very helpfull anytime of the day, he would even answer emails over the weekend (which would be when most people build them) so didn't delay put it up.

I have finished mine of in Sadolin internal and external, we finished it off a couple of months ago and sat in it very night, we have not sat in our lounnge since this has been built.

Could not recommend this enough!!!!!

Assembling the Ingrid Log Cabin was much more time consuming than I imagined.
The first problem I had was with the foundation beams. These were supplied as plain lengths of timber. I decided these should be assembled as a 'ring' with Halved Joints which I glued together and left over night.
The walls went together quite quickly and fitted together rather well. Unfortunately 2 of the top logs
were damaged and one of the ones over the porch split.
Not wishing to wait for replacements I continued with the roof. This was a challenge as fitting the ridge was at the maximum of my steps! It seemed much steeper than in Tuin's photos. (Wished I'd bought the Asmund). Nailing on the roof boards was tedious and time consuming so was attaching the shingles. Fighting the gradient didn't help. The final result was quite pleasing though. Some diagrammatic help with the ridge point would be useful. I quizzed the company about not having an illustration of the facia boards.
The next challenge was the floor. I had read on the website that it was not necessary to cover the whole site, only the perimeter, so I used 2' x 2' slabs around it. I also read that the floor was the suspended type so I expected joists long enough to span the full width. I also expected the floor boards to be supplied in lengths a modual of 600mm. The next problem was with the primary door. It has a 'wind' in it so won't close nicely.
Shame really because the finished article looks good even if the roof does look too high!

Very pleased, it's a lot posher than I thought it would be. Would reiterate what others have mentioned about instructions could be better - maybe colour coded on the wood so you wouldn't see them when erected?

Order placed and delivery made on the date advised ( delivery company Wrefords very good) awaiting planning permission before we erect so will update this later. So far very good.

We chose this Log Cabin because it was very little extra to the prices quoted for a Standard "Summer House" here in the UK.

From the moment we ordered from Tuin, the standard of Communication was excellent. The delivery was on time & the Lorry Driver was the most Professional we have ever met. He positioned the Pallet exactly where it was required & was extremely skillful with the Fork Lift Truck. Peter was first Class. He & his colleague worked for 7 hours virtually non stop. They are extremely experienced & produce a Quality Build.

The Log Cabin now sits proudly in the corner of our Garden. We made the right Choice in all aspects - Well done Tuin.

Very nice product which, unfortunately, is spoilt by inferior finial. We had the cabin built by a carpenter who said the instructions were not particularly clear. However, we are pleased with the final product. Clearer build instructions would be a great advantage.

Beautiful cabin. Quality item. Assembly instructions could be better. Experienced joiner found build challenging due to lack of detail in instructions. Roof needed secure fix added to keep it intact during windy weather.
