Foundation Bases - A crutial part of building a Log Cabin is the base it sits on, keeping it flat and level will help ease the installation of the Cabin.
Essentials - Extras for your log cabins could be a Storm kit, especially bearing in mind the UK storms. A storm kit is necessary if you're in exposed areas. Bearing in mind the storms we've suffered felt glue is also becoming an essential.
Perhaps you would like a higher eaves height. In which case an additional layer of wall logs will do this for you.
Guttering is important to protect your building as well as diverting water to where you want it.
Apart from storm kits and glue the next essential is treatment for your log cabin. It will need treating as soon as possible, we ONLY recommend the best treatments such as ours listed below. Sikkens, Kingfisher and Sadolin are also highly recommend.
Finials are next in the list and are a nice to have item. They finish the roof off splendidly.
Everything else here is for projects or nice to have depending on your log cabin choice. We do recommend the felt shingles though over standard felt. Sometimes we have FREE offers on for certain shingles, keep an eye out!

If you cannot find a log cabin that suits your exact needs we can make one for you. Log thicknesses available are 28, 40, 44, 58, 70 and 92mm thick wall logs. Bespoke buildings are only available in Apex, Pent or Flat roof configurations.
Please Note: All of our standard buildings cannot be modified or changed in anyway. They are all made, in stock and available for very quick delivery. Any amendments to a standard building including glass, sizes, is a bespoke building. Additional doors and windows can though be added. Doors and Windows in a standard building cannot be changed.

A range of doors suitable for any manufacturer of log cabin up to a log thickness of 45mm, the glazing is single glazed. These can all be retrofitted in to your log cabin. They can also be used in any garden building and are used within our Larch buildings.
A range of doors suitable for any manufacturer of log cabin up to a log thickness of 70mm, the glazing is double glazed. These can all be retrofitted in to your log cabin. They can also be used in any garden building and are used within our Larch buildings.
Timber stain suitable for all our timber products including log cabins, gazebo's fencing etc. There are 14 stains to choose from available in 2.5 litre tins. Easy to apply. All untreated wood must be treated as soon as possible before or after installation.
Our range of Embalan water soluble timber paint. Available in 12 colours and is highly recommended for all our log cabins and timber which is untreated. Two coats are generally required. 2.5L
Felt Shingle Glue 310ml for use with our shingles and also recommended during the installation of IKO shingles.
An immersion service for log cabins in Green, Brown or silver grey. This is an immersion service that provides a coating to the outer layer of the timber. This service can be used for any of our untreated products.

Impregnation fluid. This is for log cabins and all garden buildings. It inhibits the formation of damp spores and guards against fungus forming as well as other processes that may damage wood. It can also be used to treat and stop rot. It can be used as a base coat before applying a further treatmet. Available in brown, green and silver grey
Larch balustrade suitable for gazebos and log cabins with canopies or simply as fencing. Available in two sizes. Dried, smooth planned larch. A capping piece is available as an option. Being larch this really does finish off your building.

Log store made from pressure treated timber, a felted and side slats will keep your logs dry and secure whilst still seasoning. If ordered with another garden building we will supply matching roof covering free.

Basic foundation beam we send with all our log cabins as standard. Measures 4.4 x 7.0 x 300cm. This beam is pressure treated to ensure your first layer of logs are never sat in water thereby creating rot.
A highly unique product taking all of the problems away associated with felting a roof. No nails are used. No heat is needed to be applied. This product is simply stuck on. It has a 15 year life expectancy if applied correctly. Very Quick and Very Easy. Each roll is 1.0m x 5.0m and can be applied in any direction meaning a lot less waste.
