A delightful chalet style, the 45mm Sanstrov Log Cabin provides both indoor and outdoor leisure space. A garden office, home gym or summerhouse - just a few of the possible uses for the large the open plan interior.

Whilst offering a large interior, the leisure space is almost doubled with the addition of a veranda and canopy. An extension of the apex roof, this area is great for those who enjoy the fresh air of outdoors but like the shade overhead.

The Sanstrov is constructed using individual interlocking logs - Spruce, the timber is chosen specifically for its tight, dense wood grain for the highest quality finish.

All Tuin log cabins will arrive untreated and require treatment as soon as they have been installed. Customise to match the theme of any garden using paints or stains - all available from the Tuin website! Don't forget about insulating your Log Cabin.

Please note, this cabin is supplied untreated, we recommend that the building is treated with high quality paints and treatments. They should be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommendation. We also offer our own treatments:

FREE roof Shingles: As a standard building you can select either roofing felt or FREE shingles. We cannot guarantee which colour or shape will be sent. We will always let you know the colour and style following your order. It is rarely possible to change those offered as it is dependant on our stocks.

Free shingles for this Sanstrov 45mm Log Cabin are the same quality as our standard range and made by the same manufacturer. However, they are last years stock and old range colours, also some packaging may not be 'as new'.

Standard Roof Shingles: These are from our standard catalogue range and are available in various colours and styles.

We highly recommend shingles with your log cabin: The final finish is far more superior and turns a shed into a stunning log cabin. Ordinary felt will last two - three years. Shingles will last for at least 15 years and it is unlikely you will ever need to replace them.

Floor Required Spruce T&G floor options are available with your log cabin in two different thicknesses, The floor kits come supplied with treated floor joists, skirtings for the edges and all the fixings required for installation.
Foundation Beams Foundation beams are used to separate the logs of the cabin from the base/hardstanding that it will sit on.

Our cabin took a very long time to finish (due to weather) but not difficult or time consumning to put up.
It was unfortunately delivered in what I can only describe as a monsoon - we had a complicated delivery requirement so the lorry driver met us at a random barn, forklifted it onto a tractor and trailer, then the farmer took it up the hill to his top farm and across a field where he popped it over our fence using his telehandler.
It then sat under a tarp for 2 weeks waiting for the rain to stop long enough to complete the very rain delayed footings (we went with timber). We were very concerned at this point about the rain getting into the floorboards which were all packed on top but they turned out ok.
Cabin when unpacked went up quickly and easily in 2 days just with one person building it. I had to help to put in the top 3 roof lengths but that was all. Covered it back up with a tarp as rain had set in again.
Then we had another 3 week wait for the rain to stop long enough for a dry window and tiled the roof.
Painting and flooring took another 2-3 weeks of dodging rainstorms but it was finally opened with a grand launch party after 8 weeks.
We floored the veranda with artificial grass on top of floorboards - we're very happy with it.

Agreed to build this Tuin log cabin for a friend, a bit apprehensive at first as only a keen DIY,er. However need not have worried. Having studied and read all the instructions had total faith. Made a few mistakes to start but quickly rectified. Built the Santrav in a day, with the floor and shingles to finish on day 2.

Delivery on time drop was difficult but the driver managed to get the 6m pallet on my drive. The build went to plan without many problems setup was the most difficult but once that was completed the rest went up easy. Roof also was no problem. The build is almost complete and it was built by our family who don’t have high levels of dIY skill. We are very pleased with our cabin and looking forward to spending lots of time out side this summer
